This was bought for my sons 9th birthday. He’s a big boy, so I was a bit concerned that he wouldn’t be able to use it. It is perfect for him! There are a few cons. The orange holder on the back of the seat comes off very easily. It is hard to carry up and down stairs if you live on the second floor like I do without good places to grab it. My 8 year old was so excited to receive this go cart as an early Christmas gift. It was easy to put together and only took about 30 minutes. One of the stickers was a bit of a pain in the rear to get in the correct place. The go cart is very sturdy. It can easy support 160 pound person and 8 pound dog (pictured). Not only is my son having a blast riding around on it but my S/O is enjoying it too! The only complaint that I had is that immediately after purchasing it the item was marked down $90. Luckily amazon has an amazing return policy and I returned it and repurchased the go cart when it was on sale. The refund took 7 days but it worked out perfect. I bought this to my 9 year old and he had a blast! (No pun intended) it had lasted him for so long. Now since his brother is old he can ride it to. The boys say you can drift in it if you pull the handbrake hard enough. The only downside is that the hood always pops off. But the boys they ride without it. ... show more

Only reason not 5 stars is the seat should be made to adjust easier. I set mine in the middle. (has 3 settings) Its too far away for the 4 year old and too close for the 8 tear old. It would be much much better if it had a latch where you could simply change positions for each child. Unscrewing 2 bolts and trying to get them back in the right holes then putting the washers and lock nuts back on then screwing the nut again is a real pain. Kids are not that patient when papa is trying to change the seat setting. Sure, you could just buy two cars but the older child would out grow too soon ... show more

I bought this for my 6 year old son after he had a chance to ride our neighbors and was obsessed. It was easy to assemble, has held up amazingly to wear and tear, and is big enough that he will still be able to ride it for at least a few more years. We use to buy batterie cars and the wheels or the battery never last. I decided to look for something better and I found it! I am 125 pounds and it was so easy to drive it running away from my son😂 He really loved his birthday present! He keeps telling me “I love my new car” but, nothing is perfect.. now I need to figure it out how to stop our 4 year old neighbor to stop being obsess for driving it too!! Great pedal kart.. my son loves it and is a perfect for the nerf gun fan. 1-5 level to put together it's a 3. But when it came to specs. they give you the size of the kart and weight max and the age group. but my kid is one of those "tall for his age" so he is sung in it and maybe we will get a year out of it but rolls great and light , not hard for him to pedal but will be a nice hand me down.. ... show more
