This was bought for my sons 9th birthday. He’s a big boy, so I was a bit concerned that he wouldn’t be able to use it. It is perfect for him! There are a few cons. The orange holder on the back of the seat comes off very easily. It is hard to carry up and down stairs if you live on the second floor like I do without good places to grab it. My 8 year old was so excited to receive this go cart as an early Christmas gift. It was easy to put together and only took about 30 minutes. One of the stickers was a bit of a pain in the rear to get in the correct place. The go cart is very sturdy. It can easy support 160 pound person and 8 pound dog (pictured). Not only is my son having a blast riding around on it but my S/O is enjoying it too! The only complaint that I had is that immediately after purchasing it the item was marked down $90. Luckily amazon has an amazing return policy and I returned it and repurchased the go cart when it was on sale. The refund took 7 days but it worked out perfect. I bought this for my 6 year old son after he had a chance to ride our neighbors and was obsessed. It was easy to assemble, has held up amazingly to wear and tear, and is big enough that he will still be able to ride it for at least a few more years. A bit pricey but my kids love it. It was fairly easy to assemble. And took about 30 to 45 minutes. My son is rather tall for his age (7) and he is able to ride it but I doubt he will be able to ride it until he is 11 as it advertises. I am slightly disappointed in the front fender that does not stay on. Anytime my son touches the front of the cart Or bumps it on anything, the whole front fender falls off. So we Elected to just keep it off which takes away from the Nerf gun holding benefit. Would still purchase again to see the smile on my kids face and watch them be active. ... show more

    • Fun way to cruise around for my 8 year old son
We gave this to our son for Christmas. Fun way to pedal around the neighborhood. He likes attaching his Nerf guns. I'd say the only con is if he leans back at all, it may tip over. We have the seat on the farthest setting and he can comfortably pedal.

We use to buy batterie cars and the wheels or the battery never last. I decided to look for something better and I found it! I am 125 pounds and it was so easy to drive it running away from my son😂 He really loved his birthday present! He keeps telling me “I love my new car” but, nothing is perfect.. now I need to figure it out how to stop our 4 year old neighbor to stop being obsess for driving it too!! Great pedal kart.. my son loves it and is a perfect for the nerf gun fan. 1-5 level to put together it's a 3. But when it came to specs. they give you the size of the kart and weight max and the age group. but my kid is one of those "tall for his age" so he is sung in it and maybe we will get a year out of it but rolls great and light , not hard for him to pedal but will be a nice hand me down.. ... show more

I bought this to my 9 year old and he had a blast! (No pun intended) it had lasted him for so long. Now since his brother is old he can ride it to. The boys say you can drift in it if you pull the handbrake hard enough. The only downside is that the hood always pops off. But the boys they ride without it. ... show more
