I read a bunch of bad reviews and was very hesitant to order it, but it came in no problems at all with the vanity itself, the only issue was the organizer pieces were broken. I messaged the seller and right away was sent out a replacement for that. This vanity is absolutely beautiful. It is big and perfect. It is not for only young adults. I am staying with it because it has the measurements and the capacity i need. It is very expensive for its worth. Shipping along was 74 dollars. Material is very flimsy and loose if you have ordered something from ikea and found it cheap, this is 5 times cheaper, as you can see in the pictures the finishes are terrible, the mechanisms to open the drawers are a hit and miss, and some parts came already fallung off and we had to glue them, And the mirror has a wave effect in the corners. If you have more room. Or need less drawers, i will skip this one completely. ... show more

    • It’s beautiful but…

This vanity is beautiful, but it seems it’s more for a pre- or young teenager and not exactly for an adult with an abundance of cosmetic items. Although it has more drawers than most all other vanities viewed, the size of them were just too small, including the cabinet. You don’t really realize this until it’s put together, hence why I said “pre- to young teenager”. Even though the adjustable lighted mirror was nice, I did wonder how one would address the issue of replacing a bulb if it burnt out because these are not normal light bulbs. They each have a cord that connects to a unit on the back of the vanity. Maybe you can order replacements, but I didn’t look that far to find out. There were a couple of defects upon arrival. First, the wooden backing piece for the mirror had a few small chips on the bottom right edge. Had I kept it, a little touch up paint may have helped not be as noticeable. Also, a couple/few of the pieces had a light, shadowy discoloration but from what I wouldn’t know, and it wouldn’t wipe off. The last thing wasn’t a huge deal, but the spring on one of the bulbs wasn’t attached. It was an easy fix of just twisting it back on but only time will tell whether it stays on. After saying all that, had the vanity suited my daughter’s needs, I would have overlooked these issues and dealt with them as I saw fit, so I’m not telling anyone not to purchase this item. It seemed sturdy and well put together, but it definitely takes a few hours to put together. Again, it’s beautiful but for my 23 year old and her needs, it’s more on the toy-ish side. ... show more

I agree with most other reviews that this has a lot of pieces. I have assembled furniture similar to this before but this did take a VERY long time to assemble even with my drill (5 hrs). However, it wasn't difficult, just took forever. It was in good shape, no broken pieces and only one TINY place was dinged but it was at the bottom where you can't see it so that was no big deal. I agree also that it is smaller than it looks in the photos. My main issue is that there are some basic design things that clearly weren't thought out well. The drawer hardware is all gold but the jewelry hooks were silver, so I ended up not using them. The plug receptacle is configured that you can't plug in a hair dryer with a wide slot at the same time you have the lights plugged in. So you have to choose if you want your hair dryer or the lights. That was what dropped it down a star for me. I'm going to abandon the built in plug and use a power strip just so I can use the lights and the hair dryer. Finally the light switch isn't hard wired in, it's just an awkward cord that you have to thread through the access hole and then it's in the way. Not ideal. ... show more

This vanity was as I expected, which is fabulous. It was easy to put together. All I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. It took me probably 5 hrs total as I did it by myself. The directions are easy to follow along. The packaging was nicely done as all of the pieces were protected. The small paint chips I noticed were very few and only on the sides that were being screwed together and would not be seen. The lighting is very nice and easy to assemble as well. There are three different settings and you can brighten or dim them. The drawers are nice quality, and they open and close nicely. They also push in to lock in place. If you checked the measurements then you will be prepared that it is not as tall as it may appear in the photo. It is dainty and cute and I really love it. ... show more
