Beautiful box set that's perfect for displaying on a bookshelf. The box itself is made out of a very strong-coated cardboard with a plastic lock and string handles. Also comes with sticker sheets to decorate the outside of the trunk. Everything looks great and can be easily stored!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan so I jumped for joy when I found these. The trunk looking box is just cheap cardboard but it’s pretty anyway. The books themselves are excellent quality hard backs with paper covers. The print is large and legible and of course the stories, fabulous. Bought them for my wife whos a huge fan. Wanted to get her the books with the OG artwork. These are great, great quality, and the little chest is a nice aesthetic added bonus. price was awesome as well. I thought I was going to pay an arm and a leg for the full set, especially OG artwork and hardcover, but that wasn't the case. Wife loved the surprise, so its all worth it regardless. ... show more

I wouldn’t suggest buying this product because I thought the box would be at least wooden. For the price I paid. The books were in great shape though!! Nothing damaged at all but the “case” or “chest” it came in is the same quality of your Amazon boxes just a little thicker. This was a gift for my friend and I was under the impression it would be solid and not thick cardboard. Buy a hardcover set with out the “chest” or else it will feel like a waste and a disappointment when you receive it. Not worth the money compared to just buying the hardcovers alone. This is the absolute BEST way to buy this series! I really wanted hardcover books, but I also wanted a more magical feel for it as my kids get older.
