The instructions are just a bunch of diagrams with really small details. So hopefully you’re a visual person. As for the bed itself, I wish the support slats were a tad sturdier. It felt okay with my weight (140lbs) on the top bunk after assembled, but if pressure is centralized into one area (I.e, child standing or jumping) the pieces of wood bow pretty easily. Going to keep an eye on that. Other than that the bed went together perfectly and it looks amazing. Oh , be careful or you’re going to end up with splinters. Be ready to spend a couple of hours putting this together. It is not difficult and I was able to do it by myself although with two people it can be done faster. I was disappointed that a lot of the parts had minor damage. Some parts weren't painted all the way. I kept the product because I was lazy to have to put it back in the box and have to figure out how to ship it. With $99 shipping fee I assume the product would arrive in a better state. The look and feel seems good so far. The bottom bed is almost at floor lever and the clearence between beds works ok for small kids. The stairs have some rough edges that we expect we will have to buy some foam to avoid injuries in the future. ... show more

**Be Advised these beds ship in 2 different boxes. They may arrive on separate days. Product is easy to assemble if you have some understanding assembling furniture (if not, ask a friend for help). Directions could have been a bit better. We left off the part labeled "U" and you'll see why once you build them. Total assembly time for me by myself was just over an hour. Now that the assembly is completed, let's get to what you really want to know. Are they worth the money? YES! You can not find bunk beds with stairs at this price point. These beds are made of real wood (pine) and are very sturdy. The stairs could use some improvement, but overall are functional. The lower bunk is at floor level which is a huge safety saver for us! We have had them up with daily use for several weeks now and are still as sturdy as they were when assembled. I'll update this review if something changes. (I was not paid for this review and did not receive these beds free or at a discount. Just an honest man's opinion) ... show more

Awesome product. Was really easy to assemble with two people. Took a couple hours. Could do with one with some interesting moments. I like the stairs over latter or slide. Safer to get up and down in middle of night for bathroom. Put glow in the dark tape on the stairs for ease of seeing at night. Does take some space. Not as much as too beds would. It was super easy to put together and it’s super sturdy which is great for our young children. And we love that the top of the top bunk is only armpit level to us so we can get to the child on the top without having to climb the stairs.

My kids were very happy having this. And we spend a morning put it together. The shipping boxes are well packed and protected. Instructions are fairly clear, you’ll need some common sense and read the illustrations carefully. The location of screw holes can help you orient pieces correctly. My only concern is the bed slats. It looks thin and with bad quality. The instruction said the upper bed can take 200 lbs. As a 140 lbs man I don’t even want take the chances breaking it. I found some wood pieces for extra support. Generally speaking it’s a functional, good looking bunk bed. Just need to use it with some care. ... show more
