Putting the bed together is very easy and quick, only thing that got destroyed right away was the brackets on the small door. My son's would swing the door and bent it right away, I would suggest not adding it if they are curious like my son's.

When I originally received this item, I wasn’t able to put it together because the holes for the screws didn’t line up between the prices, but I reached out to customer service and they sent me an entire new box free of charge! Customer service is 5/5!! However I did give them 4 stars because now that I have it together and am using it with my toddler, it is not the sturdiest piece of furniture. She does okay with it but we have also had her pinch herself a few times on the door.. considering just taking the door off.. overall a good experience, I just wish it was a bit sturdier for her. It would be worse if she was a more wild kid ... show more

The bed has been an easy transition out of the crib with the sides all closed for our family! Our son still thinks he's locked in during nighttime even though he could most likely crawl out! If you purchase with the door, it is pretty flimsy on that side due to the door not screwing into another piece of wood. That would be the only downfall we have seen with this bed, other than that he is snoozing through the night as usual and I love the look of it! ... show more

my toddler loves! he can get in and out of bed as he pleases, naptime & bedtime have become so much easier. people need to stop complaining about things. if the slats become squeaky that could mean you’re exceeding the weight limit on the slats.

I love that the assembly was very simple and fast, I believe we completed it in about an hour and half only because we had kids interrupting us while building it. Love the gate ! Only downfall is that the hinges for the gate don't come pre marked so you have to eyeball that as well as the slates but instructions do include how far apart they should be. So far my daughter loves it and is learning to crawl into it all on her own already. ... show more

My son thrashes around at night in his sleep sometimes. Now not only does he get his own big boy bed but one that has rales to protect him. I love that it’s a floor bed so he can go in and out whenever he pleases.
