Used on an old Pelican sit-on kayak that had the seat chewed up by a squirrel. Worked very well! If you don't have the anchor locations, you likely can re-use the existing strap buckles for the front. Lacking the anchors in the rear, you'll probably want to add some to keep the seat from sliding forward. In my case I had all 4 anchor points already, and everything worked flawlessly. ... show more

Good kayak seat. We bought it for our 7 year old Granddaughter's 7 foot "sit on top kayak". Although it is an adult size seat, the seat portion is not oversize and fit well on the molded seat of her small kayak. I was afraid the back was going to be a bit too high for her, but it actually works perfectly for her and gives her good back support when she needs it. I sat in it myself and it worked well for me too. The seat attaches with swivel hooks to deck loops (which we installed ourselves) and adjusts easily. Very happy with it. ... show more

I have the kind of Hobie tandem kayak with hole on the bottom of the seat that the manufacturer's seat had plugs to anchor it down. I was undecided about ordering this product as a replacement, since the Harmony product has no plugs. The kind with the plugs on the bottom are significantly more expensive (like $80/ea, I think), so I decided to try the Harmony product. I bought two of these seats for my kayaks and they are amazing! I have two sit on top Splash kayaks. They are old but they flat. The seats hooked up to my kayak very easily. Took me maybe 2 min if that to install. They adjust very easily as well. I highly recommend these seats.
