Originally purchased these as a gift last year for a friend, after listening to him sing their praises for a year, I bought myself a pair. Right out of the box they were great fit, these run a little wide. While sturdy and rugged, they aren't too heavy. While I don't think I would want to wear these boots hiking, as they are a bit heavy, they are great for riding. They have the old school Harley rider look, maybe a bit gaudy to some, that I like when riding and so far traction and wear is quite good - and yes - I ride an Ultra limited with my wife on the back. They seem to fit true to size and I, being older and less flexible that I used to be - like that I can tie them to the tightness I like them unzip, kick them off, put them back on and re-zip without having to bend over a tighten then again. It may seem like a small thing but wait until you get old and you'll understand what an effort it sometimes takes do the simple things. Buy these boots. ... show more

My first pair lasted since 2009 so I hope this last pair are as good as my last. I love these boots and was sad when I couldn't find them in my local Harley dealer like the first time So I am overjoyed that these were still available.

If you're buying these boots to protect your feet in a motorcycle crash, you've made a smart decision. These things are seriously legit. If you're planning to wear them on stage all night while playing the guitar, you might want to rethink that decision. These boots are made with enough rubber to patch every tire at the next Sturgis Ralley. They weigh a ton, which would explain why my husband, 6'3 240lbs, was worn out by the third set. He said they are pretty comfortable though, and they look great. Not for wimps. ... show more
