This little thing works great and comes with other bit holders to be able to use other bits from Amazon. It works as expected. I just use it for small crafts. I love the color. I have been able to use it to sand, drill small holes in 1/8 inch wood, and cut wood dowels up to 1/4 inch thick. Cutting takes a little bit of manipulation but is possible. The only complaint is that usually after a few minutes of use it turns off like the battery died but I turn it back on and start again. I would say you only get about 15 minutes of use on high power though. ... show more

Interesting tools for sure. If you need something inexpensive and does the job, these will serve you well. There were two under Hardell that I was eyeballing, so I ended up grabbing both so you don't have to. We have here the Hardell Cordless Rotary Tool 4V vs the Hardell Rotary Tool 3.7V (usable while charging). Both comes with their respective Rotary tool in a hard case with their selected bits and instruments. Both are rechargeable with usbC and comes with their own usbC cord. Now the differences, the 4V comes in Black/Black and Pink/Black while this specific 3.7V model comes only in orange. The 4V has what feels like rubber padding for grips while 3.7V uses hard plastic as the exterior. The 4V comes in 6.5in weighting 0.35 lbs. The 3.7V comes in 6in weighing 0.30 lbs. 4V 1.5k mAh RPM: 5000 / 8000 / 11000 / 14000 / 18000 3.7V 600 mAh RPM: 5500 / 8100 / 10800 / 12900 / 15000 For extended usage, weight and grip does make a difference in your work process. Even though the 4V seems superior compared to the 3.7V, this model of 3.7V can be used while charging using the usbC while the 4V does not. The 3.7V comes in a smaller package, making it more ideal to carry around in your pocket. At the moment, the 4V is affordable and reasonably priced. I needed this little tool for correcting a paint job on small, hard to reach areas on some chairs that my Dremel was too big to get into. I knew it wasn’t meant for big jobs, but this turned out to be way more of a job than I expected it to be, and this little tool has held up and far exceeded my expectations! I do have to stop about every hour and recharge it, but that is with constant, non-stop use. I did buy extra sanding mandrels and sanding sleeves. Even if I do wear it out from this project, I would buy it again for other uses snd use it as it is intended to be used. Love it! ... show more
