This tent is awesome! I love it! I highly recommend it! We bought the 23 foot (7 meter) version of this tent and have been living in it for most of the last month due to toxic mold in our house that needs to be abated. I highly recommend this tent! I live in the Willamette Valley Oregon where it is very wet. We have not had any problems with the tent. We have the tent set up on our property which is sloped down toward the creek. We set it up on the most level area we have, but when it rains, the drain-off runs downhill past the tent. We have not had any water in the tent even during the hardest of our downpours including a weekend storm. So far, we have only had 25 MPH winds and no problems with the tent staying up. The packaging left a little to be desired. While the box arrived with everything in it, the packaging was quite beat up and could use some reinforcement because of how large and heavy the package is. I would suggest some sort of wood or metal reinforcing the corners to help the package arrive intact. This would be especially helpful give the reviews about losing contents. That didn't happen to us, but it is a major issue in the Amazon comments here. The tent was quite heavy. There was no way that I could move it. My husband used a wheelbarrow to move it to the location we needed it on our property. The delivery person unloaded it while I was not here and put it smack dab in front of a door making it impossible to get into that door. I am guessing they were concerned about rain and put it under the eaves of the house. This is an issue with the delivery person not the item or Amazon, but it did make it awkward when the mold investigator arrived shortly after the delivery and couldn't get into the house. Setting it up on a slope is not recommended as the sidewalls on the downhill never stand up properly even if you stretch them as tight as you can. The angle messes it up. This is true even though where we set it up is only a SLIGHT slope. If you get the 23 foot tent, you actually need close to 35-40 feet of area to actually tie the tent down. More if you want walkways around the outside. For instance, if you store wood back behind your tent and need to walk around it to get the wood, there will be long ties on the sides stretching out from the tent in the way of walking. So account for that when you plan the footprint of the tent. Assembly was not complicated, but the instructions were only marginally helpful. Given the size of the tent, it took 4 of us a few hours to set it up. There are technically instructions with photos included in a pamphlet inside the box. The problem is that they have been poorly translated from another language requiring a lot of inferring what in heaven's name the person writing the instructions was trying to convey or if indeed they were drinking heavily. The translation of the instructions simply didn't explain things well and made the setup challenging. The most important part of setup is getting the stake lines out as far as possible to maintain the sidewalls, but they do not say that. Major translation fail. At least with the 23-foot tent, it is not a quick assembly. This is way too heavy and cumbersome to take backpacking or to take down and move regularly in our opinion. It is quite an undertaking to set it up and take it down. So we will probably not use this for recreational camping. I imagine that the smaller sizes would work better for this. It is well built in our opinion. I do not see any issues with the sewing or the fabric of the tent. The zippers and flaps all work as advertised. We have not added a stove yet so I cannot speak to that. Since we are close to home we are just using an electric heater and heated blankets for the time being. The weather is very moderate here. The seams of the tent are reinforced with some sort of plastic coating that is applied in strips to the length of the seams on the inside of the tent. I have no doubt that this helps keep water from seeping through the seams. I read other reviews saying that they had problems getting ahold of the company. This was not my experience at all. When I bought the tent, I needed it ASAP. USPS doesn't deliver to our home address, so we have a PO box. But some listings here on Amazon cannot use PO Boxes. This listing said that it was not shipped from Amazon. But I purchased it in a hurry and then realized I had it sent to the home address not the PO box. I contacted the company to find out if they were mailing the package via USPS because if they were, it wouldn't be delivered. They replied within 24 hours saying it was coming via FedEx which meant that the home address was fine (Amazon makes having a PO box and no USPS service at our home address complicated as they do not list how the item will be sent in the listing or at checkout). The company replied well within Amazon's estimated reply time. They were helpful and polite. I have no complaints about our interaction. The first few nights we were out of the house, we stayed in hotel. Because of my health problems we have to have a hotel room with a kitchenette. I figured we spent less on this tent and all the set up than we would spend on a week in the hotel. Well worth the money for what we got. I have no complaints besides what is posted here -- and I consider those to be minor issues. All in all, I love the tent and think it looks magical especially all lit up at night. The fact that it reminds me of a medieval/historically inspired tent is just icing on the cake. Edited to add info on 12/3/2022: We lived in this tent for 14 months while remodeling our house, selling it, and building a new tiny house at a new location. I standby the things stated in this review. At our new property, it was high humidity (sometimes 99% humidity) and we struggled to keep the tent dry and mold free. A dehumidifier helped. As mentioned in the review, it was not quick to take it down and move it. But overall, I'm still incredibly satisfied with our purchase and would buy one again.

This tent is amazing and gigantic! It's actually pretty easy to set up after the first time of figuring it out. It's extremely helpful when posting the center pole to have one person on the inside to guide it up and another person at the end of it to basically run it in and up. I like all the windows and being able to unzip the entire bottom and pull up the sides. The zippers weren't my favorite but I can see that they made them the way they did so they weren't deteriorate. It's easier to zip if you're inside the tent as opposed to outside. Also, the chimney hole was pretty tight for the size they said so we really struggled getting the pipe through, but it's probably better than it being too big. It's so much nicer than a nylon tent, it does lessen the noise quite a bit from the outside. We've had nights in a nylon tent where the wind was blowing so hard the top of the tent was at our noses but this canvas tent doesn't even move. You can barely hear the wind. We haven't been able to use our wood burning stove yet due to fire restrictions set early but we did use a small buddy heater in the tent and it definitely heated up quickly and kept the heat for quite a while. We have the 20ft tent and sleep 6 plus our dog and could probably play soccer in there as well. It's huge. We love this tent and hope to have it forever.

I got this tent in high hopes that it would be of decent quality…. I was completely disappointed with the first setup. Seams are coming apart with no rough use. The fabric isn’t ripping it’s just the thread they used and not double stitching the ends of the stitching. Vevor’s idea was for me to stitch up the parts that were coming undone and they would send me a “rain cover” to make it water proof again. The rain cover looks to be the flimsiest poly tarp material imaginable and is barely attached. It would also cover up the vents at the top of the tent making the tent really hot to use in warmer weather. It also didn’t have a spot in the rain cover to go over the part of the door frame that protrudes through the canvas. The rain cover didn’t even have a stove jack in it. After the initial set up and getting it back into the bag I used my finger to pick the bag up on one end. Barely any pressure on the loop and it completely pulled out. I am in no way even remotely impressed with this expensive 23’ tent. I got it to spend my time camping with the kiddo, not spending my time being a seamstress!

Pros: I love this tent it’s so very easy to set up. It was made very well, quality material and stitching, the zippers are great. Roomy for just myself I have the 9.8’ tent and it’s perfectly spacious. It doesn’t get too hot in the day and stays a little warmer in the night. I slept in it last night and had a candle heater and no condensation! Being off the ground on a deck I stayed nicely warm down to 45 degrees with a decent sleeping bag and blanket. Haven’t used it but this size does have a Jack for a small stove. The cons, it doesn’t have a hook to hang my lantern and it isn’t totally water proof. I am using a tarp over the top as added shade and rain protection and the first thing I had to do was use seam sealant. It leaks along the seams into the tent. That and the tarp make it almost totally water proof now but I assume I would get wet without the tarp over the top. Tips: get tennis balls for a walker to add to the top and bottom pole to ensure it doesn’t tear. And be sure to set the guy lines so that your rain flies abele slightly down so no water pools. And use a seam sealer before you set it up, the seam sealers wanted me to have it flat for 8-12 hours. Also make sure to cover the bottom zipper and watch out for wrinkles there because if the water pools it will come into the zippers around the bottom of the tent. Again I absolutely love this tent. I took off 1 start because of the lack of water proof and hanging hook for my lantern.

I recently purchased the Canvas Bell Tent - 4 Seasons Breathable 100% Cotton Yurt from the Happybuy Store on Amazon, and I can't say enough good things about it. This tent has truly redefined my camping outlook. Right from unboxing, I was impressed by the meticulous packaging. The tent arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, reinforced with wood panels to prevent any damage during shipping. This attention to detail immediately showcased the quality I would come to expect. Setting up the tent was surprisingly straightforward. I relied on a video tutorial I had previously watched rather than the instructions, and I had it pitched in my backyard in about 20 minutes. With a little practice and not having to retie the guidelines to the tent in the future, I guesstimate about a 15-minute setup down the line. Just as I finished, between the rain squalls that day, a significant wind and rainstorm rolled in for the night. A lot of wind and a lot of heavy rain all night. I was anxious, but the tent performed flawlessly, keeping the interior completely dry and secure on examination the next day. The tent is designed thoughtfully, with all components fitting neatly into a durable canvas storage duffel. The inclusion of canvas bags for the tent poles and a heavy-duty canvas roll-up storage for pegs and stakes is a fantastic touch. I especially liked the hammer, which features an integrated peg/stake remover, making setup and takedown even more convenient. Constructed from high-quality breathable cotton canvas, the tent feels robust. The double-ply heavy PVC floor is the best I’ve seen, providing excellent insulation and protection. The zippers are strong and reliable, and the mesh windows are made from a no-see-um material that allows for ventilation without letting in pesky insects. While this tent is undoubtedly one of the finest I've encountered, I’ve decided to return it for a larger model. Standing at 6 feet, I found that I could only stand comfortably in the center due to the sloping roof. I plan to order the 4M version, which offers added height and space. This tent is for glamping camping, so the weight isn’t a consideration. In conclusion, the Canvas Bell Tent by Happybuy Store is an outstanding choice for anyone seeking luxury in their outdoor adventures. With its durable construction, thoughtful features, and excellent weather resistance, this tent is perfect for family camping, hunting trips, or special events. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Purchased this tent for multiple uses, but the main one is leaving it setup at a renaissance festival for a little over two months. Set it up the very first time and naturally it rained that night. Woke up to perfect lines of water drops along EVERY seam. This tent is way too expensive to have leaky seams. Not only that, but moisture could be felt on the inside of the tent canopy as well. Because of needing to keep this setup returning isn’t a great option right now so looking into waterproofing products. Otherwise, I love the size and space this tent offers. Setup wasn’t complicated, but definitely easier with more hands since the 6m tent is huge and heavy. Plenty of ventilation with all the windows. This thing had some pretty heavy duty stakes, but I got upgraded ones anyway since I plan to leave it up so long. Took about an hour for two people to set up, so not bad. Overall mostly satisfied but a wet tent is useless.

So im 69 yr old female and it was my first time setting up a bell tent. I did it from start to finish by myself in about an hour. Real easy. I did watch a couple videos on "how to" that gave good pointers. So do that. It has been up now for 5 days including thru a spring nor'easter. I made sure the spikes and guy lines were secure, made sure it was zipped up tight. Checked on it day 3 of rain and not a drop of water inside. I thought for sure there would be water coming in at door at the A frame where it pokes thru for attachment of guy line. They supply a cap that covers it but its not tight. No water came in thru that spot. No issues with zippers. I think its a great tent for the money.

Been holding off one writing this review for a year now. But I wanted to make sure before I gave an opinion. 1st I would like to say please do yourself a favor and research canvas tents as well as bell tents before you buy. There is alot of care that goes into one of these tents but for good reason. 1st the quality really surprised me. Very well made, heavy duty and up to the task. The cavas is thick and the bottom liner is a beast. Together they are an unstoppable pair. Water tight all around in any weather, laughts at 30 mile and hour winds and will have you feeling like your at the sauna on 20° nights. This bad boy is a home, a trusted shelter in a storm. All guide lines are holding up, all seams, all zippers, all poles and all ties. I have put this thing to the test over the last year and my family totally loves it. I do wish they had given another pocket or two. Maybe bigger vents up top hard to get smoke out if it gets in. Would 100% buy again. Now I dont know how nice a name brand 1,500 dollar tent actually is but going from 200 dollar walmart tents to this was a game changer in alot was ways, mostly good for those that wanna camp in any weather. Just do your research find out if a heavy canvas tent is right for your needs before you buy.
