This is a solid wood cat tree with no fabric or carpet attached to the main structure. The bedding is thin and easily washable, but my cats are quite comfortable on it (and you can add more cushion, if you wish). This means you don't need to worry about perpetual dust, soil, cat hair, and permanent flea infestation -- it cleans up beautifully. The legs, with sisal scratch wrapping, are "standard" sizes, approx. 8", 16", and 24" (actually, just short of 8", 15 3/4", and 23 1/2", which are the actual sizes of generic replacements available on line at Amazon). I love not only the practicality and sturdiness, I also appreciate its attractive appearance and the options for changing configuration for preferred dimensions and appearance. Want another color? Paint it and change cushions. Only one thing a little bit wrong: the cushions are not velcroed or tied to prevent slipping; but you can attach ties, use non-slip mat underneath, etc.

The tree took about 45 minutes to assemble and the instructions were pretty clear. It is a beautiful addition to our apartment and our cat immediately took to the top nook. I like the stair step configuration as she is getting older and her last tree caused her some problems.

Love the look of this cat tree, but the top perch is completely unstable. It fell apart with very little use. I had to glue & tie the pieces together to keep them from falling apart. It is not worth the money for how poorly it stays together. I would have also liked the cushions to be bigger.

This is a quality made item, and the price is fair. I think it looks better than any high end tower made. I searched for months and purchased quite a few towers before landing on this. It is study and the wood is smooth. I had trouble finding something that I felt was safe enough for my cats, as they are large, and still just kittens. My cats were initially hesitant about it, and they jump right up a typical tower. After a few days (and me feeling frustrated that yet another tower wouldn’t work for them) they enjoy the top tower and occasionally use the bowl. The other platforms are just for getting to the top, which they actually fight over. I also like that there are different ways to build it. This is a great selling point and makes the tower a better value. There are a few things I’d change. The directions could be more clear. I wish there was a different accessory for the bowl as the cats aren’t sure about that at all. They’ll stay a while if we put them in it but they generally won’t go in themselves. It just makes it very difficult for them to access the coveted top platform. TBH though my cats love any high perch and this one is a bit awkward. The shape and the round opening is just weird and they have trouble navigating it. This may be easier for a smaller cat. My cats are 11 and 13 pounds. I had to fiddle with it quite a bit before finding an angle so that they could access it. The bottom two platforms are useless except as steps. They won’t touch the cushions so I just removed them (it’s great that I could!) all and all this is attractive, well made and my cats do like it however really it’s just the top part they like. The one toy on a string broke the first time they used it. All in all this is a good option, and I don’t think you’ll find a better looking, better built tower but I’d love to see additional add ons to increase the value.

I purchased this cat tree after shopping on a ton of different sites in search of a cat tree that wasn't hideous or hideously over-priced. This cat tree is sturdy, a color that fits easily into different room aesthetics, and can be reassembled in different ways. My new kitten is 4 months old and super skittish. The hammock/bowl and high perch on this cat tree make him feel secure. He loves it.

The pieces that have threaded inserts are not fastened in so the threading comes out of the poles and does not allow for proper tightening. This creates an unsteady and loose construction. I will have to buy glue and disassemble and reassemble with glue and hope that it is sturdy enough. The top "cradle'' and the "bowl hammock" are very small and my cats do not like it. Disappointing since it is very pretty, but only one cat will only use the lower shelf with the soft pad so the rest of the cat tree is useless. The cats like the scratching posts and the feather toy.

Aesthetically the piece is very pleasing easy to put together and super sturdy until you get to the top. The top bed/perch is nearly impossible to put together as a solid piece and falls apart. I love the idea of the bed at the top the little hammock vibe, but it’s not functional and completely fell apart. For the price for what it was it’s super amazing but the top design makes it a total loss.

My order arrived within one day. Packaging was great. The box was not too heavy for me to move using a dolly cart. All pieces were packed well with no damage. All parts and pieces were very well labeled. Instructions were fantastic. Assembly was quite simple. Took me a bit over an hour to get it together. Thank you for the gloves to use in assembly! The finish piece is well made, heavy, stable, and good looking! I would definitely recommend this cat tree!
