The electric fence charger is working. I had a concern and contacted the seller. The response was quick and satisfactory. I did not give it a rating about being waterproof, because I don't know if it is. We put a bucket over it to protect it from the weather.

Zap! Awesome Fence Energizer! Makes a perfect electric fence for chickens! I love that this unit can be run from a 12V battery or 110V AC power. It was easy to hook up. There was a mounting stake included, the battery cable, the 110V adapter and some other hardware. It ended up taking so much less time than I thought it was going to take to protect our chickens. Needed a portable type fence energizer to power an electric netting fence. We ended up getting the fence from Happy Henhouse, too. I powered the energizer with a 12V garden battery and attached a small solar panel (with auto shunting) to keep the battery powered up. Keeps the chickens safe while they are out semi-free ranging.     • Don't expect a long life
Alligator clips are terrible - no spring strength and quickly loses gripping power. No reset button and not fused; short it once and you have a chunk of junk. A real POCS. Absolutely do not recommend.

Bought June 2 2023 all ready stop working on August 5 so I would be careful buying at his product . Should have been a lot cheaper to only work 2 months.

this particular Fence Charger does not put out a significant charge to prevent Goats from reaching the interior of the isolated area
