I absolutely LOVE the Happy Belly Medium Roast Coffee Pods, Kona Blend K-cups! This is the coffee I prefer to drink on a daily basis. It has such a nice smooth flavor, but strong enough for this coffee drinker to enjoy. I often choose dark roasts because I like a strong flavor for my coffee. Probably because I use heavy whipping cream for creamer. I've had full Kona coffee from Hawaii and it became a very favorite of mine, so I didn't have a lot of trust that this blend would be as good. Obviously a blend is not as good as full on Kona coffee. But that coffee is expensive and this one is affordable for us. Both my husband and I choose this one over all other flavors. I personally want to taste the coffee flavor when I drink coffee, so flavored coffees just aren't my thing. Thank you Amazon for this delicious and quality option to get our coffee fix every morning!

I have tried so many different flavor coffee pod trying to find a good tasting flavor and also trying to find one that is reasonably priced. The issue is that I don’t add sugar or flavored creamer to my coffee, so it has to be good tasting. The Kona flavor is one of the best tasting I have had. It is also very reasonably priced. The two together make this a great product!

This is not a bad tasting coffee. It is a bit weak for my taste. It is very mild roast. After I drink a cup.... I find myself craving a cup of coffee.

For the money, the value is great of course. But the taste and body is lacking. It’s mild. It’s not bad. It just tastes… watered down. I think there’s a shortage of actual coffee grounds in the pods themselves (undoubtedly contributes to the cheaper price) because when I shake them, there’s a LOT of movement in there. For a medium roast, for a Kona blend, I’d expect a stronger coffee. I’m not mad at all, but I’m also glad I didn’t put this on Subscribe & Save. I’ll move on to something else, but if you’re on a budget this is worthwhile for sure.

I switched my subscription from Happy Belly Colombian to Kona Blend. It is much smoother tasting and a great blend. I have always stuck with Colombian, no matter what brand, but I am happy that I made this switch. I have the Happy Belly Colombian on Subscribe and Save and will cancel my subscription and stick with this flavor. The only thing I do not understand is the Happy Belly color system. Both the Colombian and Kona have green foil labels that are hard to distinguish between the two in low lighting. They need to color-code the foil caps better to reflect the coffee flavor, such as brown for Hazelnut, red for Colombian, purple for Donut Shop, green for Breakfast blend or light, etc.
