I actually have this on the front porch. A cat had shown up and needed this and it was a good price, so I got it. He took to it right away and loves playing in and out/up and down. It is up against the house, so secure enough for him to be a cat. The sides are not hard so a large cat can fit, mine likes to play kill the finger from the inside. Good quality and very easy to assemble. Would have given a 5 if the perch was larger. My kitty is 9 pounds and fairly petite and it's not big enough for her. She enjoys sitting on it but has yet to lie down completely. The cave is also on the small size.

I purchased this for my 2 year old cat. He enjoyed it for 3 days. Now it sits and rarely does he go in it or play with the ball or even scratch. I hope others have a better experience.

It's a tiny bit smaller than I anticipated based on the pictures but overall it is plenty big enough for my (admittedly) smaller kitties. If you have a 15+ lb cat, it might not be enough for them. It went together very easily, and is nice and sturdy. I turned the bottom part 90° for the time being so I could push it in between two cabinets long ways. I love these inexpensive cat bed trees, as they inevitably get tore up from scratching and often hairballed on. The removable covers are easy to wash but if they get too beat up, they are cheap enough to easily replace. ... show more

This was a great buy for my kitty. Putting it together was pretty easy though it did have extra screws in the pack. (I promise, there were no screw holes left after assembly!) The assembly instructions are pretty vague, it has lettered pieces on the instructions but the actual pieces aren't lettered and of similar size, but it's fairly intuitive if you look at it logically. The only thing I did wrong was to put the hanging ball on the back side instead of the front. My cat doesn't care, now it's a little hidden which is even more fun! Sturdy piece for a regular to smaller cat. I thought the top platform might be too small for her, but she likes to sleep on it. It's a good size for a small house or apartment and seems, after a week, to be holding up great. Would buy again whenever this one, inevitably, wears out. ... show more

He is a little big for it, but he seems to love that it puts him right next to my son's bed. We had to throw away his old one from when he was a kitten because it developed mold on it. Unfortunately, my son's college apartment was left vacant over the summer with the thermostat set to 80 degrees. Kitty was devastated to see it go, so I replaced it and he is very happy with the replacement! In fact this photo was taken as soon as my son built it and I can honestly say this is the happiest I have ever seen him! ❤️ Now that I have seen it in person I can say it is a very nice quality. Much nicer than his original. And the top can come off to be washed although we have not done this yet. Would be perfect for kittens or if you just need a shorter tree. ... show more
