Son loves it, it's just what he wanted. It is hard to keep the blocks from shifting and there is no way to set or "lock" a block into a specific position to keep it from moving but the overall quality is great. Would recommend setting it up on a mat or rug to keep it from sliding around.

Amazing set! Lots of fun ramps, tunnels and looptIe loops. Wish it was more sturdy as the slights bump from the two year old can completely wreck the 6 year oldโ€™s creation. But is great for kids who are careful, focused, and love building.

    • Cool, but unstable
Love playing with this set. Our daughter is only 3, but she already gets a kick out of it. However it is quite unstable. I think she won't even be able to use it until she's 6 or 7 at this rate. I am going to add a smudge of silicone around the connection points in the hopes that it at least makes the blocks less inclined to twist around. Last comment is that I really dislike having to download an app to get the directions to make the different configurations. But if I'm going to download an app, at least make it possible to like save certain collections to my profile so I don't have to remember the random names of the models. Also, if you have multiple sets, it should give you extra configurations that you can make. I can figure it out myself, but that would make it worth downloading an app. And if you are going to have a "community" element to it, I suggest making it more than just sharing pictures. You could allow people to show off their own configurations with written instructions, etc. But, all in all I can see this getting a lot of use down the line when she can start to understand the logic and once i hack it not to fall over if you just breath too hard at it. ... show more

    • Whole family LOVES this toy
This is the 3rd set of these we have bought. Our family has so much fun building and exploring together with these. Our 5 year old has started to engineer her own โ€œmazesโ€. Wonderful for coordination, logic, imagination, and teaching kids to keep trying until you get the desired outcome.

Marble run falls apart so easily. You would think for nearly $200 the marbles would actually run down the โ€œtrackโ€ and not fall off. One of the wooden pieces came broken. See picture. Itโ€™s just not worth it. With hape I thought I was getting quality. My toddler is super disappointed.

    • Good quality, fascinating toy.
This is my sonโ€™s favorite toy at the moment. We have played with it every day for 3 weeks now. He is 3, but with some guidance and encouragement, he is excited to build the 35-45 step models in the paper instructions and the app.

    • Great toy for a preschooler
We opened the package in the morning, and my 4 year old son has been playing with it since (itโ€™s 3 pm now). Great quality, endless variations, absolute favorite.
