I spent months looking for a nursery rocker that wouldn’t break the bank, take up a ton of space, and could be used in other rooms. I almost purchased the IKEA Poang rocker but it seemed so pricey for what it was. I went out on a limb with this dupe and I am glad I did! My husband put it together easily. For the price, I’m happy with the sturdiness and construction. I will mention that there were several chips/splinters along the wooden base— they sanded down easily and you would have to inspect it closely to see that damage. Also, the bar under your knees is a little uncomfortable if you spend a while in the chair— I just toss a throw under my legs and it’s fine. It does slide around on our laminate wood floors, so I’m going to purchase a rug to put under it for traction. I’m 5’8” and 190lbs and feel very comfortable and stable in this rocker. My husband is 6’ with long legs and is comfy in it as well. Overall, the price was excellent and the chair is solid. I am very pleased with it. ... show more

I put a soft blanket on my cushion for extra comfort cause the fabric is like a modern linen couch quality, not bad but i'm picky about textures! But this is a solid chair, doesn't slide on my carpet as other reviews have said. I feel slightly short in it, like i should use maybe a ottoman to push off of cause i feel i need to stretch my foot pretty far when pushing back. But great quality chair, modern and cute, does it's job! This will last far longer than nursery "gliders" of the same price for sure! ... show more

Good light weight rocking chair. Rocks well on solid surfaces not on carpets. If you have tile or any gaps/seems in your floor surface the chair will make a tick tock sound when going over this area when being rocked. Be prepared for more work for you when you place the chair on carpet. Also mine would work its way across the carpet in an uneven manner. I didn't like that. When you sit down the front of the seat cushion flips up a bit which leaves your hamstrings resting on a wood bar. That can be uncomfortable and you have to adjust the cushion to keep this from happening. One of the best purchases I've made. It was easy to assemble, seems surprisingly sturdy, is very comfortable, and I've successfully rocked my baby to sleep in it more times than I can count. The best product I’ve ever bought on Amazon hands down. I’m using my husbands account to write this review: I’m 5’5 and my feet JUST touch the floor which is perfect for a rocking chair.! I was really hesitant to buy this because of all the reviews saying it's uncomfortable unless you're tall, and really wasn't sure I needed a rocking chair anyway, but my husband insisted I'd want it when baby got here and I'm so glad we bought it. I'm 5'1" and this chair could not be more perfect. The support bar hits right under my knees making it super comfortable and I have no issues rocking in it. It's also very comfortable for my husband who is 6'3". We also haven't had any issues with it moving around while rocking on our wood floors and it feels very sturdy and looks nice for being so inexpensive. It's also nice that it's light weight and not too big because we can move it around our tiny apartment easily which has been really nice when I want to eat dinner at the table while nursing. ... show more
