  • Dissappointed.
Color: Grey
Some what disappointed!! It's EXTREMELY Hard to get out of if you prop your feet up. TO prop the feet up you have to manually lift the bottom part up. To put DOWN the bottom part, you have to again, MANUALLY lift it, ALL THE WAY UP THEN down- all the while your feet are still on it!! I've found to make it a wee bit easier to put one foot on the side(which isn't so easy cause of the side arms) and lift it with just ONE leg on the bottom(because you can't put BOTH legs on the side to get out or you'll fall out onto the floor! It's extra hard because I'm pregnant, and bought this chair in hopes it would be a great choice to breast feed in....) it'll do the job so long as I don't want to put my feet up. There's no way I'd be able to put my feet up, and have to manually lift my the bottom part with my leg on it while holding an infant when I'm trying to get out!! I Also wish it rocked a bit more!! Also, I'm concerned that with regular usage, the foam will flatten and become very uncomfortable- its already a bit firm. The head rest isn't comfortable either, its also very firm, much more firm than I expected and has already given me a neck and head ache from when I fell asleep on it trying to fold laundry. Things I DO like about it- the pocket, the fact that the covering will be washable, and the biggest thing I like about it, so far at least, is that it's STURDY. So as long as I don't use the foot lifting feature much, it should work for what its intended for... but be careful, I've already hurt myself using this chair when trying to get out of it because I scratched myself on the wood sides trying get out of it without putting down the foot lift! (desperate for an easier alternative) Edit: I no longer use this chair. It hurt my butt SO BADLY I was in tears (I would still be in pain after getting up from it!). And it was so difficult to get in and out of with baby in hand. The only thing this chair is being used for at the moment is holding stuff...it's getting piled up... it will be removed from the room soon, most unfortunately. OH And if you are breast feeding do not purchase this chair, as there is no way to support the baby ... the hard chair arm is uncomfortable and the open sides give no support either. The best thing this chair would be used for, is for someone who wants to have a seat for about 5-10 minutes. ... show more

  • Are you sure this isn't a patio chair, or bonfire starter?
Color: Black
First. I bought this from the Amazon warehouse. So Its not a review of a new product. So, if you're thinking of going through Amazon warehouse, read on. Brand new, maybe a read. But you should trust a new review, first. Amazon admits the packaging would be damaged. But a 6 inch hole on the bottom of the box, and loose screws, dowels, and the hex wrench was a gamble. Down 4 screws immediately...all because the warehouse refused to realize the screw bag had no bottom. I'm shocked more wasnt missing...but hey they remembered the instructions! Moving on...I found that futon parts work in a pinch, but you should check your local hardware store if you want to piece this together...because futon parts my strip the threading. Once I got it together, and sat in my makeshift glory; andI will say the chair is comfortable, for an indoor reclining outdoor chair...or was that because the padding looks shoddy and cheap? The velcro is very classy, in an 80s sort of way. And like any good 80s nostalgic episode you may experience...you just wanna rock, right?! Well...dont get your hopes up. This trip down nostalgia lane is interrupted by the fact this chair rocks like a low rider attempting fate with a speed bump...it could happen...but you're most likely going to end up either stuck, or feeling the bump... But, if you just sit its cozy. So, I guess there's that? Spend the money, buy the better options listed...because I just got my money back. This chair belongs at a bonfire...as kindling. ... show more

  • Nice chair
Color: Grey
Just received today. Took about an hour for two of us to put together. Chair looks nice for the price. Not uncomfortable, not super comfy, but we just are using it in our office for me to sit in while my husband works on the computer. Unfortunately, we don't have it where the back is against the wall because the white plastic package straps ( the stuff you usually cut into when your opening a heavy duty package) are VERY unsightly. The least the company could have spray painted it black, which is what my husband is going to have to do. Overall, its a nice chair. *update, I was looking thru the pictures of the chair and noticed the back of the chair is covered by the fabric. However, the directions were very unclear when putting together. You have to unzip the cushions cover and place the metal frame inside the cushion and IP, then assemble the frame WITH cushion onto the wooden armrest/legs. We will have to disassemble the metal frame and the 6 screws since we are "special" and missed that step. I hope this helps anyone else out that makes this purchase because the directions for that step were terrible. ... show more

  • Not really for 6 footers.
Color: Brown
The instructions weren’t the easiest to hollow-just some drawings (as someone else mentioned, the picture looks like you lay the pad on the frame...it took me 5-10 minutes of trial and error before I realized you have to unzip the pad and put the frame inside it!). I had 1 bolt that cross-threaded some, but other than that and struggling a bit to get the bolts to line up through the wood, then the grommet in the pad to the hole in the metal frame, it wasn’t too difficult to assemble. My biggest issue is the size of the chair. The seat is pretty close to the ground; the end of the footrest hits me mid-calf’s and the headrest hits me in the shoulder blades-if I flip it upside-down (it mounts with Velcro) it’s sort of ok... I’m 6’ 2” and 200# and the cushions seem firm...I’ll have to see how the hold up. I bought 2 of these to use in a travel trailer, so we’ll see how well they hold up. ... show more
