This is such a cool chair! The chair, ottoman, and lumbar pillow came vacuum packed and in a box that is barely big enough to hold just the ottoman once it's been expanded. After removing the two layers of plastic shrink wrap it took about an hour for all of the pieces to expand to their proper shape. Once expanded this chair is crazy comfortable. You can sit, lounge, and even lay a little sideways. It's shaped short of like a bean and my body just fits into it and wants to stay. The non slip bottom on both the chair and the ottoman does a really good job of keeping it from moving around unwanted. The fabric is soft and feels slightly velvety. All three pieces have covers that are removable and washable. I had this at my house for a day before having to take it to storage because we're preparing to move and I already miss it. I can't wait to get into the new place and crack open a good book while I lounge in comfort on my cool new chair. ... show more

I was worried that Amazon generated deceptive AI images of this item with the lady on the chair, but no. The images are accurate. The chair is comfortable and the perfect firmness. It didn’t take long to expand after unboxing. I am 5’6” and about 160 lbs. with no issues with fit. The only thing I’d change would be making the ottoman cube a little bigger/longer and at least flush with the height of the seat of the chair, as it is the ottoman cube is about 3-4 inches lower. I would also make the size of the lumbar support pillow a little thicker for better head support when propped up above the top of the chair. I did add an accent pillow to the set up making the end result much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a budget friendly reading nook lounger this is a good choice. ... show more

This seat with ottoman is very comfortable! It comes packaged airtight but as soon as you cut the bag it shapes up to the final shape. The covers are washable and they actually wash pretty well! I just washed the ottoman cover and it came out intact. I set the drying temperature in medium. I like the fabric texture which is a bit corrugated. That helps it to not be so slippery. Also, the bottoms, as you can see in my pictures. Have an anti slippery fabric that works great on my hardwood floors. It also comes with a little lumbar support pillow. I’ve always wanted a bean bag sort of chair, and this one is perfect in every way! It’s super comfy but firm enough that it feels supportive, and I love the extra lumbar support cushion; perfectly comfy but not too much, and it isn’t attached so you can move it around. I could sit in this thing for hours and not be sore or uncomfy! The fabric is soft too.
