I used this for my fence to block gawking neighbors from snooping. But this one I bought to run along the backside of my dog's outdoor kennel. Now the sun doesn't beat down on his water and food during the day. the kennel panels are 6 feet tall so I was able to use these and easily attach them using the plastic ties that come with them. You'll want to use thicker ties for fatter structures though. And if you pull the ties too tight, you'll end up with a lot of broken ones.
