This is an oil cleanser that cleanses and washes away super clean. Skin is left way softer than before. I have dry skin and don't wear makeup, so I've just used this (no double cleansing) and it's not breaking me out.

I had previously used a conditioning balm to remove my make-up, but it would leave my skin oily and almost like it had goop on it. I would always have to use another face wash on top of it to remove the balm. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant when purchasing this cleansing balm. Boy, I'm so glad I bought this one! This make-up remover smells amazing and goes on smooth. I apply to my face dry and rub in gently. Once I have it all over, I wet my hands with warm water and continue to smooth onto my face. Then just rinse away! You literally see all of your makeup coming off, even waterproof liner and mascara! After rinsing, you can either follow with a moisturizing cleaner or toner. You don't have to do either, but I always use a toner afterwards followed by my moisturizer. My ONLY complaint about this product is the price. The tub doesn't last more than a month (I wash my face twice a day), so you're going to have to spend some $$ purchasing this every month. But it works like a charm!

This was a good cleansing balm, but not for me. Now that I'm older, I've been having a problem finding a cleanser that won't strip my oily skin or leave it looking lifeless. This balm removed makeup well and left my skin feeling soft and moisturized when I used it alone, and seemed to prevent my cleanser from drying my skin during double cleanse. I had to stop using it because it broke me out, though.

First night using this. I have tried many cleansing balms, this is the ONLY one that did not leave a film behind. I wouldn’t have had to double cleanse, if i didn’t want to. Consistency is great. It lathers well before water is added. It does not feel like others (so no feeling like I’m putting A&D ointment on my face!) I will change review if needed! As of now, i would repurchase this as my daily cleansing balm.

My Hanskin Pore Cleansing Balm is MOLDY. I smelled mildew and thought it was my towel, my sink etc. I sanitized but still smelled it. My face started breaking out all over! Finally realized the mold was cleanser. I bought 2 at the same time & I’m past the 30 day mark and can’t return. Rip off I will NEVER EVER buy from Celltrion Skincare again. Been buying this for years. I’m sticking with Ulta

I have oily combinational and acne prone skin. But also a bit sensitive and inflamed due to the long term acne struggle. This cleansing balm is very gentle. Before using it, I was afraid that my face would be dry af after a double cleanse. BUT, I actually feel very moisturize. 1) It seems to be effective for controlling blackhead. I have recommend my friend who have blackhead to use it. 2) For me, I do think it reduces the chance of acne, or when I do have a few spots, this balm can reduce the size. So I do plan to buy this product again! Update March 18th, 2020. Have nothing to do during this lockdown, so give it an updated review on the amazing product. Still amazing. Very gentle. A couple of friends actually asked me how I got rid of blackhead and control acne... guess it is really working. So I told my friends to try it. One did buy it, and she said it was helping. So great job!

For some background I am 27 with combination skin. My skin is prone to redness and I have a small amount of eczema and the occasional pimple. I don’t use steroids or acne cream, and usually keep my skin in check with the natural and clean skincare and makeup that I use. Lately my face seemed to be getting out of control, and a friend suggested I get rid of the makeup wipes and give this product a try. WOW, was I shocked. I use this product as instructed before I cleanse with an oil cleanser, followed by a water based cleanser. It feels a bit like rubbing coconut oil/a paste on your face, but it is incredibly moisturizing! This has done wonders for my skin. I have not had any acne or breakouts from this product, and even if I slack off on washing my face for a few days, I feel like after I use this product my skin is almost instantly restored. I can’t say enough good things about this cleaning balm!
