  • Best Mouse on the Market
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
This mouse is unbelievably good for the price. The highlight for me are the ergonomics: I have larger hands, and this fills my palms so comfortably that it’s been impossible to switch away from. The button layout is exactly where you want it to be, without any buttons being in the way. The only buttons I press on accident occasionally are the buttons to the top left of M1, which adjust the DPI. The mouse is very accurate; I’ve never once felt like it wasn’t doing what I asked it to do, in the instant I asked it to do it. The M1 and M2 buttons have a decisive click in them, with an easy reset that allows for hairpin-like taps without any issue whatsoever. It’s fast, it’s accurate, and it’s a delight to use. I also like that the DPI buttons can be customized in the software, so you can decide what the increment and decrement amounts are. The 5GHz connection dongle has been a breeze to use. I’ve never once had connection issues between the mouse and my various devices, and it connects remarkably fast when plugged into a machine. It can also be conveniently stored inside the mouse for travel purposes. Swapping batteries is very easy as well; if my mouse ever died during a game (which it hasn’t, thanks to the software giving me an ample heads up when the battery gets low), it would take mere seconds to get a new battery in. The battery life has been excellent. I used to change the battery once every few months. Now, I work from home, so in combination with gaming, I’m using the mouse for over 12 hours a day, and I change it once a month maybe? My one complaint has to do with the scroll wheel. Keep in mind, I’ve been using this mouse for several years now, maybe 2-3 years. Sometimes, when I scroll just one click up or down on the wheel, the screen will scroll the opposite way. I suspect this has to do with some wear and tear on the sensor, or perhaps a misalignment. This does occasionally cause gameplay problems when I try to use the scroll wheel to swap weapons, for example. The mouse didn’t always do that, so I take it as a sign the mouse is getting old. If this mouse ever dies on me permanently, I’ll be getting another one. It’s had great longevity, and I know nothing lasts forever, especially under the intense use that I subject mine to. I’d recommend this mouse to anyone on the merit of its quality, its comfort, and its performance. ... show more

  • Nice mouse
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
Overall pretty nice mouse, fits nicely in my hand and the weight is nice. I haven’t had it for long but it’s seems quite responsive and durable. One thing to highlight that I really enjoy is rather than charging it with a cable, it takes AA batteries. It makes it far easier to quickly change the batteries, especially if paired with a few rechargeable batteries. Grip could improve but overall I see no downgrade in my experience because of it. My only issue is the dpi could be tweaked a little, as it only goes by increments of 100 rather than 50. I play on 1250 Dpi usually but, not a big deal as I can just play on 1200 from now on. ... show more

  • ITS GREAT
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
Most satisfying and responsive mouse I’ve ever used. Sensor supports quality tracking and connects easily. Double clicking? Easy. Dpi adjustment, also easy. All 7 buttons on the mouse can be programmed. Comes with 3 stickers. Premium Razer quality👌

  • Pretty good successor to the old line of DAs
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
Pros - Retains the classic DeathAdder shape. This large ergonomic shape performs very well in competitive shooters. - Precise, power-efficient sensor - Doesn't have Razer's optical switches (which are more reliable but many say feel and sound worse) - Very quiet and tactile scroll wheel - Good medium weight (83.5-100g depending on choice of battery) and good weight distribution - Excellent 100% PTFE skates which are the right size and rounded off Weird choices - AA/AAA battery instead of internal rechargeable. It works, but it doesn't seem like what most users would want. - DPI staging buttons are located on the M1. Why is this not on the bottom of the mouse? DPI-switching 'on the fly' isn't something that many gamers actually do, and even if they did, these buttons aren't convenient enough to do so anyway. Additionally, it's an eyesore that interrupts the smooth curves of the classic DA shape. Cons - While better than Razer optical switches, the M1/M2 switches (Kailh Green Dot) are still quite loud and stiff. Therefore not suitable for an office environment or any use outside of gaming. Peripheral makers need to start taking noise and clickfeel into account and start shipping mice with lighter and quieter clicks (at least as an option), or hot-swappable so we can choose our own. Since the Omron 50M (D2FC-F-K) was abandoned by the industry due to widespread double-clicking, most peripheral makers have gone with alternatives without consideration for how they sound and feel. We need better switches. Even the Omron 10M that Razer previously used would have been a better choice, IMO. - Side buttons have a bit of pretravel, not that bad - No rubber side grips. Why? To save 2 cents? As a result the mouse is slippery until your hand develops a bit of moisture, then it's fine. - Stupid name Performance I used a DeathAdder Chroma for a a few thousand hours in CSGO and performed well with it in matchmaking and ESEA. The DAV2XH (yes, this is how you abbreviate the name of the mouse, lmao) was honestly a very simple and easy transition. If you want a wireless DeathAdder with mechanicaly switches at a middle weight, this is a great option ... show more

  • Decent mouse with shoddy performance. Terrible support.
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
Mouse tracking started behaving poorly, mainly when moving the mouse vertically. This has caused significant strain in my forearm due to having to pick up the mouse and re-correct for its poor movement. I use the mouse professionally and for gaming and this is unacceptable. Reached out on reddit, went through multiple hours of troubleshooting with Razer support. Razer support on reddit recommended me to their actual support. Went through hours of duplicate troubleshooting with them. Finally they said if I didnt reply within 48 hours my case would be closed. I replied to the email within 12 hours. 3 days later and... no response from the Razer team. This is my 2nd identical mouse of the same kind and will be the last Razer mouse I purchase. 0/5 stars for support. Seems like they just wanted to avoid a warranty. I will be purchasing a mouse made by any other brand than Razer after this and will no longer recommend Razer mice. ... show more

  • Best "normal" high performance wireless mouse
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
This is the best "normal" high performance wireless mouse I have found. By that I mean it's a normal size, good ergonomics, relatively premium feel, the buttons have a satisfying click, doesn't have zillion little buttons, has big forward and back buttons, a normal scroll wheel, and uses AA batteries that last for months, has a classy black look. This is particularly a problem with Logitech and G mice... all of their mice have some sort of compromise (or multiple compromises). They're either not full size, or they're too big, or they have gimmicky scroll wheels, are cheaply made, have too many buttons (for gamers), or use rechargeable batteries that only last a few days. This mouse gets ALL the basics right! Its closest cousins are the Logitech G603, Logitech MX600, or the Microsoft Intellimouse. But it also has a better button feel than all of those, particularly the Intellimouse. And all of those mice are no longer in production. ... show more

  • An updated version of a timeless classic
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
As a casual gamer, I've been reliant on the DeathAdder for years. This gaming mouse features 2 extra buttons for macros in-game. The 2 buttons on the top left corner by the left mouse button specifically adjusts the DPI, which can be customized to your liking on the mouse's software. Compared to its predecessors, the DeathAdder V2 doesn't feature rubber grips, which is a lifesaver as the glue wears down over time. Inside of the outer shell of the mouse features 2 battery compartments: 1 for a AA and the other for a AAA battery. There is a USB-A connector, which remains connected to my gaming laptop and my preferred way of connection. The size of the mouse seems to cater to those with medium to larger hands; I specifically like this mouse because of its minimalist design and ergonomic size. ... show more

  • Use 2.4ghz, not bluetooth
Size: Mouse Style: DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed Color: Classic Black
This thing is great. I've been gaming for a lot of years, so I was still stuck in the old mindset that wireless mice cause latency and aren't good for gaming. I finally got tired of having a wire running across my desk, and the mouse wheel went out on my other one, so I picked this up. I literally don't notice a difference from wired. A very important note though: you will notice input lag on bluetooth mode. While yes, it saves battery, it is well worth it to just get rechargeable batteries and run it on 2.4ghz mode all the time. If this mouse was bluetooth only I would have returned it because its super annoying. ... show more
