I love the lightweight, soft cotton feel of the shirt. The purple color ('violet splendor') is beautiful and just what I wanted. I've had 6 long sleeved Hane's shirts for years and hope this lasts as well as the old ones. I like the narrow sleeves because I tend to push up my sleeves and this helps them stay up. The size S 'violet splendor' shirt fit nicely, just like my old ones. PROBLEMS: The size S 'sizzling pink' shirt was significantly smaller, and I had to return it. I got a size M which fit. BTW holding them up together the size M pink is the same size as the size S violet. Also, on the pink shirt the bottom hem was poorly sewn. The stitching missed the edge of the fabric, so it frays a bit. I kept it anyway because I love the color and feel. Because I do love these shirts I ordered 2 more! Size S "regalia blue" fits as expected. The color blue is much lighter than shown, but a nice slightly grayish blue. Size S "cactus" fits as expected. The color is a bit greener than shown, but about the same color value and quite nice. ... show more

    • Shrinks, and has skinny sleeves?

Edit: I am returning the shirts because I realized I wasn’t going to wear these shirts at all, and they weren’t cheap enough for that! Anyways, the strange shrinkage and tight sleeves proved too uncomfortable and made me cranky when I wore them. I’m just so puzzled by the skinny sleeves.. why?! . Original review: The shirt is fine for being one of the only 100% cotton white long sleeve women’s undershirts on Amazon. Despite reviews saying it runs true to size, I sized up in case it shrank, which it did. Before it shrank, the sleeves were still abnormally skinny for a size large shirt. I usually wear a medium and feel like I’m busting out of these size large sleeves, especially at the forearms. If you want to be comfortable while you wear this at work, size up maybe two sizes! Returns are too much of a hassle but I might not be able to wear these shirts after 3 washes/shrinks. ... show more

This shirt is adorable! It fits comfortably and is nice and casual, though not really as long as I would like. The biggest issue I had was that it arrived with a seam undone at the wrist. I sewed it up and will continue to wear it, but still. Worth noting.

I love the quality of the material. Not too thick and not too thin. I am petite, so usually a small is swimming on me- but this was pretty form fitting. The shoulders were narrow. I would size up!

I ordered this shirt in White XL. I needed it for wearing under a turtleneck while walking in cold weather (50's). I'm 5'5 and 125. I work out and I'm fit. I do not have big guns - just fit arms. The arms on this shirt fit everywhere but the elbows - the elbows were tight. The remainder of the shirt was pretty loose and comfry. Again - I needed something a lttle loose for my outdoor workouts - I didn't want a skin-tight shirt. Basically - the shirt didn't fit. If you're bigger than I am - the torso of the shirt will fit but if you have "bulky" arms - forget it. I also ordered the same shirt in BLACK Large - I've found it's just easier to order two sizes online and keep one (pain but that's our world today). The black looked great but the arms would fit a kid - way too tight. It's almost as if they sewed the same arms on both shirts. Something is way off. I must say - it was 100% cotton. Love the colors and the softness. I purchased a large, a tad snug, especially in the arms, should have sized up. Very thin material which is okay for layering. I purchased the bright pink and it's very bright. Good value.
