I purchased these shorts for the summer to relax in. They fit perfectly for me. I consistently wear a size 10 in whatever pants or shorts I buy. They are a little snug at first but relax as you have them on. I am glad because if I do decide to use them to work out then I know they won't slide down. Some reviews complained about the waist band being too wide but I don't find it a problem. It is the same width as my yoga pants. The draw string is a nice feature if you want to make them fit tighter. The fabric felt kind of scratchy but after washing them, they are soft. The length is perfect and hits about mid-thigh. The style and quality is just fine for me and I would not be embarrassed to wear them to the gym. They would make great shorts for walking.

I needed some shorts to wear for pt appointments after my knee replacement. These are absolutely perfect for that use and just overall around the house. They allow room for my swollen leg and comfort around the waist. A perfect short. They are durable and come out of the wash perfect.

They are good quality shorts and are made of comfortable fabric. Be careful as these shorts run big so if you normally wear a large size, you may want to try a medium size. Of course, everyone is built different so what is good for one person may not apply to everyone.

I bought a bunch of shorts on Forever 21 and it was truely alot of money wasted. Meanwhile I find these cute little Hanes shorts which fit great and does not break the bank at all. They are so reasonably priced! I am 147 lbs and stand 5'4" and wear a medium. I have a little belly & regardless they still fit just right. They fit above my knee, like the part of the picture where my leg is lifted. I highly recommend these. I also already washed and dried them and they did not shrink. They are basic and nice to lounge around the house with, thats what I wanted them for. You could easily wear them out tho! Hope this helps!

Exactly what i was looking for. Got them to wear all summer, camping, theme parks, lounging at home, etc. first time i wore them was to SeaWorld. So light and comfortable. Didn’t ride up at all. I wear a 16 normally, so ordered a 2xl. perfect! I got black and dark grey and love them both!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice these Hanes Women's Jersey Pocket Shorts turned out to be! I like the length (not too short, not too long); I like that they're neither tight nor baggy (i.e., not sleazy; not slovenly); I like the feel of the fabric (100% cotton is *always* a joy); I like the pockets; I like the style/width/weave of the cotton drawstring, which you can use to tighten or loosen the waistband as needed. Following suggestions from other reviewers, I ordered a size medium, even though I can wear anything from a size 4 to an 8 for shorts/pants, depending on the manufacturer. The medium turned out to be ideal, particularly since I can tighten them a tad with that drawstring! Unless you have a flip-phone, don't expect to slip your phone securely into the pockets, as they're not especially deep. But, they are totally fine for stashing a kleenex, your keys, your fitness club pass--that sort of thing. I *definitely* recommend these shorts, especially for such a reasonable price for decent quality! P.S. Remember, these are 100% cotton, so be smart: Wash them in cool to cold water, and either machine dry on low setting or drip dry.
