When I requested this product, I wondered whether any steamer could be worth this price. Having used it, I would say “definitely yes.” Most garment steamers are either inexpensive handheld ones that work fine for touch ups or expensive, professional floor tank steamers. In either case, you’d still want to have an iron on hand. This is the ideal middle price point steamer that also doubles as an iron. I was astonished at how fast I was able to deal with a stack of tops and pillowcases. Way less time than ironing. I even zipped through a heavily wrinkled cotton house dress that usually takes considerable time to decently iron. A jacket collar that has had a seemingly permanently mis-ironed collar quickly straightened out and lays perfectly now. The difference in functionality between inexpensive handheld steamers and this one is like night and day. On this one, there are three steam settings, not just one. If you turn off the steam on this one, the iron is still heating so there’s no waiting for the steam to be ready when you turn the steam back on. The water tank is larger. Perhaps best of all, it doubles as an iron. The head turns to a horizontal position for steaming, and a vertical position (in line with the handle) for ironing. The box included a mitt so you can turn the head to the desired position while it’s hot. Why iron with a steamer?—it works better. You don’t have to worry about accidentally ironing in wrinkles or having the iron spit water. If you have all cotton sheets, you know how the trim at the top of the flat sheet can work its way into permanent wrinkles, which at least for me, no amount of ironing could get out. Using an ironing board and shifting back and forth between steam and no steam, I got the trim on my sheets to finally lay flat. I’m not sure why I even need an iron anymore except that irons have somewhat more surface area and a pointed end. My guess is that my iron is going to gather dust. In short, super product; very well designed; highly versatile; and elegant appearance that the advertising photos do not do justice to. ... show more

    • Unsure if I can bring this to travel...
it seems a little too big for traveling though.. so I can't say I would do that. but for what I seems - It works really well for a small little thing. the color scheme is killer - with white and rose/yellow gold that lines it. and the best part is the head is movable so that makes it really useful for all kinds of garments or wrinkles you throw at it. This also heats up really quickly and it comes with a hand glove/mitten for your other hand to make sure you don't get burnt while trying to pull the garment taut for this steamer to do its magic. what I LOVE about this is that the water tank is NOT attached to the handle, make this a 1000 times lighter to carry and use. I've used others that the tank is part of the handle, and it makes steaming really tiring. I definitely will recommend this to everyone if I could - oh it comes attached to a base that you can mount on a wall if you like. but I am undecided about this though - the jury is still out on that one. The media could not be loaded. This steamer has been great for getting wrinkles out of my blouses. It has dual functions, and can be used as a steamer or a regular iron. There are 3 heat settings (low, medium, high) you can use for different types of fabrics. The steamer heats up pretty quick, in just over 30 seconds. It's easy to use and I'm able to get my blouses wrinkle free in a few minutes. The water reservoir is on the base unit, and detaches easily to be refilled. (reservoir holds just under 2 cups of water) With the large reservoir, you are able to steam multiple shirts before having to refill it. Since the water reservoir is separate from the steamer, it makes the head lighter and easier to use. Also, you don't have to worry about it leaking on your clothes. You are also able to lie the base flat while steaming and it won't leak. The head rotates and can be used in vertical or horizontal position. There is a silicone mat on the base, so you can safely hang up the head once done steaming. The steamer is pretty compact for easy storage in a drawer or cabinet. It also comes with an extendable hook so it can be hung in the closet or it can be wall mounted. It's well built and sturdy. If you are looking for something between a portable steamer and a heavy duty size steamer, this is a great solution at a good price point. ... show more

I have tried numerous steamers and always feel like I’m disappointed. This is my 3rd steamer but the also the largest. I couldn’t believe my eyes at how quickly it steamed my clothes free of wrinkles. I had ordered multiple slacks and blouses that were delivered via vacuum sealed, meaning they had severe wrinkles that no ordinary iron could get out. So I didn’t have high hopes that this would do much to get them out. I was dead wrong. Not only did it get every single wrinkle out but it did it in less than 5 minutes. It was the easiest thing I’ve done with a steamer or iron. I don’t even have to steam them the night before work anymore. If for some reason I don’t like the outfit I selected the night before and need to make a last minute change, I can and I can get any wrinkles out in minutes. This is freakin awesome ... show more
