I wanted a compact handheld to mess around with and throw in a bag or leave on a table, this one is awesome for that, it’s super compact and controls are surprisingly not bad. Wish the game selection was a bit better and the UI was better, but for this price tag you can’t really expect much more it’s pretty impressive. If you are an avid gamer and have more expensive devices you may feel this is cheap don’t expect it to be super high quality but its a lot better than what I have seen at this price point and I’ve tried a lot of handheld consoles. The console comes in a nice box and comes with the essentials. The console itself is really compact, the color is nice and I like the lack of branding, it looks nice, colors pop. The buttons feel suprisingly okay, they are clicky like micro-switches, not soft, which feels better than bad mushy buttons to me. The placement of the reset button is bad, I pressed it a few times by accident trying to toggle the volume, which are like 5 discrete set points which is odd but works. The software isn’t great, you can’t back out of menus you need to reset, but it is barebones but gets you into games, no search function. Game selection is okay wish it was better, but I found some classics like Contra, Excite bike, and Gradius which made me happy, and they actually play really well. No brightness adjust on the screen, it is bright though and colors are acceptable but distorted. Honestly for the price I was expecting worse, this is a good game console to mess around with or just throw in your pocket for a quick game or to mess around with in front of friends, would be great for a kid as well, not perfect but overall nice and fun to play.

I love retro games and when I saw this little retro gaming console, I picked it up. The console seems to be built pretty well and I love the bright colors it is made with. This console has a ton of games loaded in however many are ones that I am not very interested in. I think others may like them just me personally I was looking for some bigger name retro games and this had some odd named games. I've not explored ALL the games yet so maybe there are more I will find interesting in the future. The console itself is a nice build like I said, however it is VERY small. I have big hands and I could still play it but the reset button I kept hitting by accident, I wish they had placed it in another spot. The screen is well lit and clear, and the sound is VERY loud and clear. For the price I really cannot complain too much, it does have some fun games, it works out great, and I think that it would be fun for any kid or adult that wants to play some retro style games!
