We gave it as a gift to our kids. I bought this for the kid so that he would have something to entertain him while I was at work, as I sometimes take him with me when I work. He loves it and it connects to the TV with the input cable that came with the console. We tried it out and it was a lot of fun. The price was very affordable, which is definitely a good thing. They had a lot of fun with it. It's a great handheld device with retro games like Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat. We love the fact that it can be used on the TV. Everything runs great and the graphics are great. This would make a great Christmas gift for a child or the whole family!!!!

This console is one of the best money can buy. This is an awsome handheld retro game console. Far exceeds my expectation. These have classic games that remind me of my childhood games. Hours and hours of fun. Portable and quite different from other game consoles. My kid loved it. The package includes all the accessories. Connecting to TV was easy. No adverstisement is a bonus for me. Be it a birthday gift or a christmas present, kids would definetly love this!!! I would absolutely recommend this product.

This handheld game exceeded my expectations, which were not very high. It is still working after about a week. The batteries last quite a few hours once charged. There are many amusing games on it. It is easy to hold and fits in a pocket. Quote from the user, “It’s awesome. I like how long the batteries last. The buttons are marked clearly and work well. I like the shape. The games are cool. It has all the games I like and wanted to play. I really recommend it.” That didn’t really matter though. Understanding the text was not necessary to play the games. I tried a different handheld game before I purchased this one. It did not even last an entire afternoon before it was completely useless. This is by far the better choice.

I'm a fairly strict parent when it comes to screens and children. Tv time in my house is limited and i think we're better for it. My son is getting too an age where he wants to play video games. This is something he earns, he gets to play on rainy days or after completing chores without being asked, and we both love it. I don't worry about what he's playing or seeing. Some of the games are good for brain development, others are just fun. It's great for long car rides. We both love sitting together and taking turns on some of the games.Because it's safe for kids, doesn't have horrible violence, and reminds us of the old Nintendo! This is a game I would buy over and over again! I'd recommend it to anyone.

My seven year old is addicted! We love all the different super Mario games and 2 player games. The additional plug in remote included is genius. My five year old enjoys being player 2, though she is not as technologically advanced as her sis and has a harder time timing jumps and such. The battery could last longer, but for 500+ games and at least 4 hours of straight gameplay, the value is astounding! It can be played while charging. It has a headphone jack, although I haven't tried it. If my kids were to break it, I'd buy it again, though it's a pretty lightweight but sturdy construction. I even enjoy sitting back and playing with them. The screen is great and lit to be played at night. I haven't tried it outside, but figure it would be fine in shade or in a car as most screens are.There is volume adjustment which is much needed bc it has some loud sound when it's all the way up. All the games are old school graphics which is a real throwback that I love. I haven't found the game pictured in the product image and am wondering if that type of graphic is on this system or if it is just a image that was placed. It doesn't have any save features, so once you die in super Mario for example, you'll have to start from the beginning. This might be frustrating for older kids, but for my young kids, it gives them a video game history experience and hand eye coordination practice in quite a few types and styles of games. Either way, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again if this got broken or lost! I'll probably buy one when my 2 and 3 year old reach this age.

These were bought for my three kids, 7,5,3 for a cross country trip. We were flying (4hrs) and driving (6hr trip twice) for the trip. These were great! We’d let the kids keep themselves occupied for a while and then pull these out for 20-30 min breaks. My kids play Wii Mario Brothers so they were familiar with that game and probably spent the most time on those. They really enjoyed exploring the other games though and trying them out. Honestly my husband was super excited to show our son SUPER CONTRA. I may or may not have spent some time playing these in the car as well. Just be advised, they’re the old school graphics and everything. But if you’re looking to occupy kids without WiFi or movies... this is a great!! Keeping packed away for future trips!
