Compact portable Handwarmer pair, came with a USB-C pair cord that plugs into your USB charging block. Marketed as 4000mAh, i.e., in my experience-based belief: 2x2000mAh, to provide about ~ 12 hrs heat from each single sided heat hand warmer. Or slide the pair together to form a 2-sided heater, still compact enough to hold in one hand or carry in a pocket. What I like best about this design is that: the compact size is highly portable, thus easy to fit one in a shirt pocket for example, and the other one in a trousers pocket. Wow, mine has an easy to use on/off button on each of the two hand warmers, with controls states: off, on low, on medium, on high. If the handwarmer is too warm, I turn the heated side away from the skin, where clothing can catch and distribute heat. In my experience, as with any hand warmer, typically best to avoid direct contact with thinner skin if you plan to fall asleep! However, when in very cold weather do not sleep, keep moving in search of shelter. Personally, I prefer the USB-C charging port / cable pair, likely reliable in the long run. Congratulations to the designer and manufacturer on making a fine product useful in cold weather as well as useful when Air Conditioning temperatures at the work office is too cold. I've utilized various hand warmers throughout my life in high altitude winter sports, scouting, camping, hiking, boating, etc., and in cold work environments: I like this product design and its performance for personal use. Thanks for the USB-C, easy to plug in without reading glasses. Not a problem: not provided is the USB charging block like what I use to charge my smart phone. Also, not a problem: not provided is a possible accessory, preferably a solar charger. Five-star rating from me is well deserved, 10-star if allowed! For those concerned about where products are manufactured, ask yourself, where can you find such a great product for a reasonable price! I've had this product for five weeks, and it is reliable for my family's needs. I plan to buy another pair ASAP. For those familiar with larger rechargeable hand warms, small and lightweight is often better in my opinion, and a switch that is easy to use makes a difference to me, and a pair charging cord shaped like the letter Y, is my preference. Now that I found such a great product for my needs, at the end of the cold season, I won't buy any more boxes of clearance disposable chemical hand warmers. Stay warm, out there, or in cold work environments! Hooah! As a first time buyer for "Rechargeable Hand Warmers", I did my homework/ spent time reading a majority of reviews on products where an acceptable amount of reviews are available. I mostly avoid products with limited to none Reviews. On this occasion it really payed off!!!$$$!!! To keep it short in comparison this product stood out for good 👍 reviews 👌 given by a good number of random verified buyers. No one had anything bad to say. In the sea of others where the bad reviews ranged from mostly: "does not deliver on the advertised amount of hours it will operate", to complaints about thermostat problems "Inconsistent temperature changes", and problems with battery charger indicators". This unit 😍 passed all the specs of 12 hours on temperature setting #1. I actually clocked my first set as follows: (1-Set/ 2-Units) 1-Set in lowest Temperature setting/ 1 red light on display = OVER 12 HOURS ACTIVE AND CONSISTENT HEAT. Unit (A) Was Fully Drained and Auto-Off at about 12.5 Hours. Unit (B) Was Fully Drained and Auto-Off at about 13.5 Hours. So basically "Above and beyond" !!!$!!!$!!$ With the Charging on both meeting the advertised time of 12 Hours, with one actually going 12.5 hours and the other hand-piece of the same package set gave out a full 13.5 hours at setting #1 which I used/tolerated comfortably in my gloves, and the pockets of a double breasted pockets shirt, with a cotton Tshirt underneath. It was good for moving in and outdoors in Chicagoland winds in the low 30s Fahrenheit. I also had my doubts about the duration when reading some of the technical specifications in reference to the battery size, after reading other product reviews complaints about short operation life, and with a 5000mA battery. Thinking this one only has 4000mA,???? And yet in practice I can now see that it has everything to do with the "Design" of this product, how it outperformed the others with larger battery specs. Since I was so impressed with my overall first purchase, I bought a second pair. Immediately put on trial/ to the test!!! Thinking 🤔 can it be??? And in short, "Yup" 🤩👍🤑🤑🤑✌️😎 Credit where credit is due. Lasted the exact same. For some reason one piece lasted longer than the other, but both lasted MORE THAN THE ADVERTISED 12 HOURS in setting 1. And About 6.5 to 7.5 hours in (Setting #2) which gets quite 🔥 Hot, and gave me excellent support for sustained movement in Freezing Chicago windchill at 8 degrees Fahrenheit. I am writing this as the Winter in these parts gets started. As of now I have not seen the need to use setting #3 WAY HOT🥵 At temperature setting #2 It has to be really cold to comfortably tolerate these thru my pants pockets onto my legs without any added leggings, like jogging pants or long John's/ thermal leggings. At temperature setting #2 these are too hot to hold directly in the hand, or put in your gloves for a sustained period 😳. As handwarmers directly on the skin of your palm, temperature (#1) the lowest setting is perfect/ Comfortably tolerated for sustained periods of time, in your gloves for example for hours at a time, 🥰 and gives me over 12 hours working time. One more point on the battery and Design. BOTH MY UNITS HAVE PROVEN TO PUT OUT MORE THAN 12 HOURS on setting #1 and over 6 Hours on Setting #2 OF Flawless "CONSISTENT HEAT TEMPERATURE" #1)Hot/warming, #2) Hot/Hot, and #3) Hot Way/Hot, Unwavering, evenly, without a glitch. The led display is easy and very easy to use and see in the dark. Temperature settings 1,2,3 in solid red LED. Press and hold the Button until the red light turns on. Then quick press button to toggle between Temperature settings #1= 1 Solid Red light, #2= 2-lights , setting #3= 3-lights. Charging indicator is blinking blue as progress bar 1,2,3. Drained at one blinking light, half charged at 2 blinking lights, Fully charged at 3 Solid Blue Lights (stops blinking). When the unit is drained it will power off. If you click the start button it will power on to red light then flashing blue before powering off to indicate needs Charging. Did I mention how much I love these guys on a personal level and how much piece and comfort they bring, knowing they are portable warmth on the go. Adjustable for indoors, outdoors, and a moving variety of both in Bone Chilling Arctic like Chicagoland Cold. And they work as advertised, as needed No B.S. / Hassle Free 😑. As a last note. Yesterday I accidentally 🙃 dropped one from about waistband high onto hard concrete floor with a dry Thud!!!! Immediately tested it and it started and operated like a charm. Good endurance. This before I took my review pictures 📸 so check em out. Rugged and Road-Worthy little guys. Also the product boxes have turned out to be excellent road cases, for my 2 sets. Conceptually, I loved it. The packaging and product look great, but I never used it. My use is for inside ski gloves liners with pockets for hand warmers. (see picture). These were to replace the disposable kind, which work well but are wasteful and expensive if you forget to buy them before going to the ski slopes. Others might buy them for watching a sporting event outside. For watching a sporting event, they are just silly. Gloves or mittens are a far more efficient option and warm your whole hand and wrist if they include gauntlets. You don't have to hold anything with gloves or mittens, so your hands are still useable. Replacing traditional disposable warmers, my purpose, was something I seriously wanted them to do. I use warmers almost every day that I ski because of medical needs. These are just too heavy and too fat to replace the traditional disposable hand warmers. Even though I size up in my ski gloves so that I can fit a liner in the gloves, this extra bulk made it impossible to put the liners in the gloves. The weight is three times the traditional disposable warmers. That isn't a ton of weight, but when you consider the care that is put into keeping the weight of ski poles down, and the fact that arms and hands are always working, usually raised and or stretched out or moving in one direction or the other, they were too much and just not as good as the traditional product that they were replacing. Maybe this product can be redesigned, lighter and thinner. Until then, stick with HoitHands or their various competitors. ... show more
