The hand warmers work perfectly for this use. The warmest setting is too warm for me, but if I lived up north they would be a godsend. We are being told this is going to be an unusually cold California winter. So I am ready. I put them in my jacket pocket and they kept the pocket warm which made is cozy when I put my hands in. First pair that were sent had one with a battery swell that split the case open at the seam and had the warmer malfunctioning. I emailed the address on the package and within 24 hours I had a response that they would send out a new pair or refund my order. I opted for the new pair since the one working one did a good job. I received them about 3 days after I gave the company my contact info(Amazon wont share it with them so I had to provide it). Used them two days later at a cold soccer game in NJ. Overall, these hand warmers were a good buy. One unit of mine seems to last longer than the other, but I still get close to 3‐4 hours of continuous use on the lowest heat setting. Found these after needing something to warm up quick, stay warm and last a little longer than the traditional disposable hand warmers. These are perfect. Charge quick and last several hours. Only thing I’d change is the charging ports to be on the same end.

They lasted 2.5 hours on medium to high and the batteries still had a charge to them. On high I had to have gloves on they were so hot to the touch. I'm happy with my purchase. We wound up returning these for OCOOPA brand ones on Amazon that we had previously bought as gifts for people and they love them. These, while they're ok for the price, get VERY hot. They're smaller than we'd like (and I have small hands) and the angles on them don't feel as nice when you're holding them as rounded ones like OCOOPA ones do.
