First off, I was surprised when I found out that this is more than just a hand warmer - it also functions as a 5000mAh battery bank for recharging phones or other USB devices. Cool! As for its functionality as a hand warmer, it's perfect. It has a nice satiny finish from the beautifully colored anodized aluminum finish. It's a nice diameter, sized like 2 "D" batteries stacked end-to-end. It has three charge status LEDs on the top next to the USB input and output, as well as an LED ring that shows whether it's powered on low (green), medium (blue), or high (red). Its build quality is really nice. I bought this for my wife, who suffers all winter from Raynaud Syndrome (poor blood flow to the hands) so she is always uncomfortable. Usually the only "fix" for her frozen-fingers episodes is to run them under hot water, but if we're outdoors she doesn't have that luxury. This hand warmer should be the perfect solution to her, as the little chemical packets we've tried just don't produce enough heat or cover a large enough area of her hands. ... show more

This is super handy dandy and very easy to use. Fargo gets so cold in the winter hoping this would be a great use. As of right now works very well. Warms up really quick. I wish it lasted longer tho. However for its size it does it job well.

It also has three heat settings so you can adjust the temperature output to suit your needs. It feels well built, aluminum body, easy to operate, small enough to fit in any pocket.
