I bought this for my husband, whose hands are always cold due to his need for blood thinners. He told me this hand warmer is GREAT and he prefers it over battery operated gloves, which would be clumsy and difficult to use around the house. This works very well for him and I’m so happy I found it here on Amazon. The battery life could be better. The battery itself is somewhat large, which made me think it would last longer than it does. It needs to be charged, at least for my husband’s usage, about every other day. It is not a fast charging battery so we need to leave it charging overnight. I love this thing. It warms up very fast, very soft on the inside, it does come with a good battery. It is and does exactly what it is supposed to do very well. That being said, I think this will help. 1. It is exactly what it is. It is made to put your hands inside of and warm them up, which means you have no mobility or can’t do things with your hands while they are warming up. Yes, you can alternate your hands or whatever but this is not really something to use to buy to do work in. It would be perfect for watching your kids football games, etc. it also has a long strap so you can hang it around your neck and walk around a campsite or park or Ren fest or anything like that. I am 6’ 185 lbs and the adjustable strap fully extended puts the warmer just above my waist like the pocket of your favorite hoodie. 2. I’m glad I happen to read the instructions cause this probably would’ve frustrating me if I didn’t know, but when you put it on high heat (the red light setting) it heats up to 65°, and then turns itself to medium heat (blue) on purpose. It is meant to do that, It is not a malfunction. 3. The battery is decent and I love that it came with it. The dimensions, length and width are a little smaller than my iPhone 15 (average phone size) and about half the thickness and pretty light in weight. As it says in the instructions, the hotter the setting the less time it lasts so if you don’t already have any more of these type of batteries and want to use this more than a few hours, I recommend having an extra. The warmer uses regular USB port and the battery that comes with it has 2 USB and 1 type C port. 4. The pocket that the battery goes in is plenty big enough to carry a second battery (of about the same size) plus some cash, ID/credit card and car keys (as long as it’s not a huge fob) or something if you wanted to. ... show more

I bought this for my wife as she has to be outside for 30 minutes a day. The unit has 3 settings and provides adequate heat. The weather was harsh and registered 3 degrees and the handwarmers kept her hands warm where everyone else was freezing. I also used the handwarmers. Sometimes my hands get so cold and can not warm up. I used the device and was able to have the circulation flow where I didn't need the device for the rest of the day. I bought it last year since I am band mom and needed something to help being outside it drains the battery very fast and did not have consistent heating times. I tried to use it for the first time this year and it did not work at all. When I plugged in the muff with the fully charged battery it flashed the three colors and did no longer responded.
