I'm so amazed and delighted with this blender. I got it very fast and tried it today. I didn't crush ice but I crushed a frozen banana right out of my freezer making a slimfast smoothie. I couldn't believe how FAST AND QUIET it was! Other blenders I've used have ALWAYS taken at least a few times to blend well about 2 to 3 minutes and noisy. This sweet machine was NOT very loud at all and blended my drink in less than 20 seconds! I love on an apartment so I always worry about disturbing my neighbors but I'm thrilled it wasn't too loud. I like the easy use, not too noisy, not to easy to clean , clear container but kinda heavy but strong so not breakable , does all functions need. I make smoothies , but will try puree for soup feature

I've only had this blender a few weeks so I can't speak to its durability, but what a wonderful machine! I especially love the large, heavy, glass container which cleans much more easily than a plastic one, with no fear of scratches. Granted, IDK what might happen were I to drop it. It is very heavy....but so thick that it just might survive without problem. I use it to make post workout smoothies and it crushes ice like a champ. Just a few pulses and then I put it on the "Smoothie" setting for a half minute or so and the ice is fully processed and incorporated into the drink. I found by accident that in order to use the spout feature you must really press down hard on the lid to seal it. Otherwise you can just remove the lid and use the container's built in pour lip. ... show more

I bought another expensive blender on Amazon that stated it was great for smoothies. It sucked. This less expensive model out performed the expensive blender and crushes frozen fruit like a champ. The expensive blender had a plastic container and the metal drive rusted. This one is glass.

Blending power seems pretty good, but if blending smoothies, it takes a lot of hand mixing in between and shaking the whole blender to get things blended. It is fairly easy to clean. And man is this little blender on the noisier side. I wake everyone up making my morning smoothies haha

It blend fruits well, even frozen ones. Some people complain that this product doesn't blend, but I solve it it by simply mix things around with a spoon or add more water. It's not that difficult to figure out

What I dislike is that the top pops up when blending. Good thing I'm standing there to pull it back down because it would probably have a mess. What I like is the fact that it is powerful, and it is easy to clean.
