I bought this as a Christmas gift for my bf who loves Halo. When he opened it he was so excited! He relived his teens for about an hour, talking about Halo 2, before he opened any other presents. For a second, I could see him turning to a child LOL. His comments are that it's nice and sturdy, just wishes it would light up and make sound, but we could rig that up ourselves. He's an adult, he's on the bigger side, but even his big man hands fit nice. All in all, it was a great buy. He now just has it on display. I grew up in the 80s, and I remember toys that looked like this, and the first time you poke something or hit something it immediately folds and bends and gets ruined. So while I hoped this would be robust, really I was just hoping it would be robust enough to last for a couple Halloweens. When it arrived, I tested it out, and it is super thick plastic that is *WAY* robust. I am just tickled pink. The only down side is now I need to come up with a permanent place to display this, as it's gonna be around a long time :-D ... show more

Im really late writing this review but purchased this for my son for his halloween costume and he absolutly loved it! He still plays with this. It is light weight and sturdy. The product itself was perfect. It is very sturdy. Much more than I originally thought it would be. My 8 year old son loves it! The shipping was where the problem was. It arrive about 2 weeks AFTER the expected delivery date. Amazon did great in resolving my issue though so I can't really complain.
