    • It does not light up. But you can make it light up.

Seems like a nice tough toy. Plastic is thick. With 5$ worth of Amazon LEDs and a 9v battery it's a great addition to my sons Halloween costume.

    • Just do it
Style: Energy Sword
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my bf who loves Halo. When he opened it he was so excited! He relived his teens for about an hour, talking about Halo 2, before he opened any other presents. For a second, I could see him turning to a child LOL. His comments are that it's nice and sturdy, just wishes it would light up and make sound, but we could rig that up ourselves. He's an adult, he's on the bigger side, but even his big man hands fit nice. All in all, it was a great buy. He now just has it on display. I was glad enough to make him happy and watch him enjoy himself! ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bought this for my (6yo) son's Halloween costume. He loves it! Totally completed the look. Now I did supe it up by adding LEDs around the edges to give it the effect I know my kiddo wants. He hasn't seen the upgrade I did too it yet, but I know he's going to love it. ... show more

    • More sturdy that I dared hope for!!!
Style: Energy Sword
I grew up in the 80s, and I remember toys that looked like this, and the first time you poke something or hit something it immediately folds and bends and gets ruined. So while I hoped this would be robust, really I was just hoping it would be robust enough to last for a couple Halloweens. When it arrived, I tested it out, and it is super thick plastic that is *WAY* robust. I am just tickled pink. The only down side is now I need to come up with a permanent place to display this, as it's gonna be around a long time :-D ... show more

Im really late writing this review but purchased this for my son for his halloween costume and he absolutly loved it! He still plays with this. It is light weight and sturdy. There were several "Master Chiefs" trick or treating but he was the only one with an energy sword! Thank for making me a cool mom! ... show more

    • Overall great product, need to work on shipping issues.
Style: Energy Sword
The product itself was perfect. It is very sturdy. Much more than I originally thought it would be. My 8 year old son loves it! The shipping was where the problem was. It arrive about 2 weeks AFTER the expected delivery date. Amazon did great in resolving my issue though so I can't really complain.
