My husband is a 6'3, 220 lb weightlifter and I bought this for his satyr costume for an upcoming pagan festival. It's PERFECT for that kind of cosplay. The material feels very nice, and I can tell it will be easy to bend and shape and work with (note that it was NOT misshapen on arrival, I mean to shape it to my husband's body for a more custom fit). The only issue is that the shoulders are far too big...and the underarm straps are a bit small, especially if you have biceps. You'll need to expect this piece to be more of a draft than the final piece - you WILL have to modify this to fit. For XL or XXL body types, be prepared to LOVE these in the shoulder area...but do know you WILL have to either remove the arm straps and make your own (would look great with some tan or black elkhide rope!), extend the strap somehow, or try your hand at stretching it. All in all, this was NOT a piece of junk you find at Halloween City...you'll love it, but please know it's likely to need some work to be perfect for you.

Used this to dress my dad up as the dad off how to train your dragon and it worked perfect. You really have to have broad thick shoulders to fill this out though and it can be adjusted bigger than the measurements say, if needed. Great quality and craftsmanship. We will be able to use this for multiple years.

Im about 150 lbs and 5 10 I'm not this most beefiest or muscled guy, actually I'm very slim I had to drill new holes just to be a little tight around the chest, even then it would still turn and slide so it felt awkward to wear Other than that it felt sturdy and looked very nice

A good product. But not for lean men. My fiance is 6'3 and 180. And it was wayyy to large with no way of easily making it fit. That said its still good quality!

These shoulder pads were a hit! I'm glad I purchased them. I received a few compliments on them as well. However I did have to poke a few holes in the straps to fit my body better. At the end of the day after moving around so much they held up with no signs of damage. I'm 5 foot 7 inches about 150-160 lbs athletic build and there were only SLIGHLTY big on me but it was not a big deal. I recommend these for anyone beginning their cosplay or Ren Faire dress up.

I am a 240lb man and my biceps are a bit too big for the arm straps. I had to punch an extra hole in the straps and move them past my biceps up to my armpits. Other than that, the harness is very well constructed and looks very nice.
