This thing is sweet. It has a full metal housing, insane, accurate detail, solid weight, and comes with two different emitters for decoration or blade attachment. Lightsaber came in excellent condition. There are two hilts included. One for larping, which uses a larger neck to install the blade, and a more movie accurate hilt for when the saber is on display. Note that when you are using the larping hilt, you will need to install the blade before you can turn on the saber. Very satisfied overall. ... show more

    • “I see you have constructed a new Lightsaber”
This light saber looks and feels great. Just be aware the pictured lightsaber is for display only. If you want to attach a blade you disconnect the upper “skinny neck” for a thick neck part with holds the blade. You will quickly forget about that one you turn it on and get that distinct ignition sound of Luke’s Lightsaber. I love that you can disconnect the blade with a push and a twist instead of having them permanently attached like the force FX sabers do! It also came in a cool display box with a green Jedi emblem. I will purchase the legacy light sabers from now on instead of the Force FX saber just do the fact that you can disconnect the blade without tools and can use the same blade for each saber if you don’t want to purchase a blade every time. ... show more

This is legit if you are wondering, I actually got mine a week before the arrive date said. They shipped fast and it arrived in great condition. I also bought a 36 inch blade and it arrived with it. It all works and it sounds great. Would recommend buying here!

This IS the luke Skywalker lightsaber from galaxys edge make sure you check underneath the lightsaber and you'll find the hilt that's supposed to be used with their lightsaber blades. Just unscrew the hilt that's on it and replace it with the one inside the case and take off the black cap and the blade will go in! Also this lightsaber is really cool and the sounds it makes are accurate ... show more

    • This is the official Luke Skywalker Galaxy's Edge lightsaber.
At first I was confused because the other galaxy sabers have an access point for the saber blades and this one did not appear to have one. like another reviewer mentioned the hilt for the blade is stored underneath the packing material in the box. the one you see when you open it is just the display version. Also the batteries don't work with that one because the bladed option has contact nodes to ignite the lightsaber. Looks great and has very authentic power up and down effects.
