I thought this was a pretty generic mask for the price. I had to order this bc my main mask was coming from China and hadn't arrived yet. It was mediocre at best. We like to go over the top at our annual Halloween Olympics & Boo Fest and this just didn't deliver like I thought it would.

My son ordered this for Halloween and loves it! I tried it on and I didn't like how it felt next to my eyes, but it doesn't bother him. It takes 2 AA batteries and has 3 light settings (solid, flashing & rapid flashing). I thought it was a great value for the price and made an easy costume.

This mask is... well, it's cheap. I knew it was cheap when I bought it. It is a black plastic mask with EL wiring weaved around a multitude of holes. It is worth approximately $3 in materials, and no more than $9 if it works when you get it. Mine did not. I "fixed" mine. Mine does work... now... after requiring me to create a new splice into the EL wire from the remote. Do NOT do that! When yours arrives not lighting up, send it back. I needed mine to work for a party and I wasn't going to wait for another to arrive. Oh well. Cautionary tale, it stings when you touch ground on this thing, even at 3v. Yes yes, I know! But, but, ugh.. I was trying to test these tiny little wires (literally a 2 strand ground). I gained a new respect for micro soldering. MY soldering, of course, is gloppy and ugly, but I was able to get it connected again. Strangely, it is clearly stronger now than the original soldering job (by fact that it works now and doesn't just come apart). If you decide to purchase this, have realistic expectations that it is about a 50/50 shot it will work at all, and more than likely, not last more than a couple uses at best. Still leaving a gracious 2 stars, as for the price, I wasn't redirecting a whole lot. I DID expect it to work when it arrived. That's where it let me down.
