So looks like the pictures, feels small, but to my 2 year old it's a huge set. As the title suggests, it hard to open all the compartments. That's good or bad depending on your opinion...I even struggled. My little one likes to open and close things on her own and is a bit frustrated with it since she can't independently play with it if it's closed. But once it's open she's in hog heaven. I wish the pots were a bit bigger, I mean it's $25, give a little more glitter goo for a kid to smear on their cheeks. The powders are actually pretty nice and have actual pigment to them (see the "mermaid" makeup example). It does come with some little sponge brushes but I bought a cheap set of brushes and silicone brush holder to round out the makeup experience. ... show more

Very cute and looks like a great set for little girls with a variety of makeup, however there is no place to store the brushes inside the caboodle thing. It is a separate little case for the brushes, which is actually a deal breaker for me because I know the brush case will get lost quickly and then we won’t have a way to apply the makeup. It’s almost like they forgot about the brushes when they were designing it and just threw them in afterwards. I wish there was a place inside for the brushes and I’d totally keep it! Purchased for my 3 year old and she loves it. It doesn’t stain so that’s a plus and very easy to wipe up. However, it did come with a small crack I’m assuming from shipping. It wasn’t too noticeable I just used a little super glue my daughter didn’t notice.
