I tried for a solid day, did everything to minimize clogging and I couldn't get it to print PETG for any print longer than 15 mins, heat creep was terrible. I only got 2 prints to print with decent quality. returned and now looking to order something else.

As I'm sure you all know. All of us print our upgrades whether we design ourselves, remix another, or just print straight from another's design.. That being said, this is a good kit if your going to ravage it for parts to supply a hot end setup you want or need to use! The fan duct on this one was broken, fine I didn't like the way it looked assembled anyway. You know how it is! The next thing was the ED3 clone mine had a volcano. It was just no bueno! Either was the Heat Break which turned out to be stainless... So, I cut, milled, bought another couple heat breaks in titanium, replaced the sizing to eliminate the bowden tubing needed and swapped the volcano hot end to my 3maxx and installed the Maxx hot end on the v2.. perfecto! ... show more

Everything seems OK but pteg and pla sticks and blocks awful. Replaced heat break with a quality titanium one (e3d, or th3d's) and you are good to go.

The overall kit is ok. The fan ducting is printed in PLA. Both of mine melted and fell off on the first print. Everything else is fine.

    • Don't waste your time
Style: 24V V6
This product is a joke, what you get is a box of random junk that doesn't even fit together. This comes with no hardware to attach it to your printer. It does not have a threaded coupler for your bowden tube, it comes with a snap on, plastic insert that is supposed to hold your bowden tube in the hot end. The heatsink does not have screw threads at the top for a threaded part. The fans are very, very small, like the size of a quarter. The heating element fits poorly into the hot end, you really have to wrench those screws down and bend the block to get it close to being tight, it has poor contact with the block. They didn't even include everything in the pictures. This product is a joke at this price, it would be a rip off at $9.99. Save your money. ... show more
