I purchased these containers to take food for lunch at work because I was looking for an alternative to plastic and also glass (since glass is quite heavy). They have a capacity of about 6.2oz, which I tested by filling them with water and then weighing them (since 1 ounce of water is 1 ounce of volume). I’ve been using them for a few days, and I’ve been very pleased with their performance. The silicone lids seal tightly (i.e., require you to “burp” extra air) and are leakproof - I tested if they would leak by filling the containers with water, and then shaking them over the sink, and no water came out. I washed the steel parts in the dishwasher since they are dishwasher safe, and they were just fine. (I bet you could wash the silicone in the dishwasher, too, but I always wash my silicone kitchen items by hand.) However, water can get stuck under the rolled lip at the top, I do hope that they will not rust in the future (and they shouldn’t rust, since they are made of stainless steel). My only concern is about their durability. When they arrived, the corner of one had a small dent, probably due to rough handling during the shipment. I will not be very rough to them, but do keep this in mind. If you anticipate these containers will be in a situation where they get dropped frequently (like if giving food to baby who might knock them off the table onto the floor). With my one concern about durability and their price (small Pyrex dishes are cheaper), I’m going to take off one star.

Their about a cup in size but square in shape. Easy to clean.The four set works for lunches. Sandwiches need to be cut into small quarters to fit into the container.

I have an awesome bento lunch box, but it doesn't quite fit everything I'd like. I was looking for some really small containers that I can fit in my lunch bag, along with my bento for fruit, nuts, cheese cubes, and the like. These stainless steel snack containers are the perfect size. I like the silicone lids and the multiple colors. I'm not sure I would use these for liquid, but for what I'm wanting, they're great.

These are the perfect sizes for snacks. I use them for my kids lunches and for snack time for school. They are the perfect size portions and they are really durable. I like the different color tops they are cute and I like that they are rubber so it is easy to get them off that way the kids don’t struggle with it. They are easy to clean also. These are probably my favorite containers that I have gotten off of here.

Perfect size for snacks, sauce/dip, yogurt, oatmeal, or egg. Easy to do overnight oats with the leak proof silicone lid preventing spills. Liquid did not deep out when holding the liquid-filled container upside down. The stainless container heats well on a hot plate for warm oatmeal and reheating small sides. Easy to clean container, but the lid has skinny grooves to seat snugly with the container. A small brush easily cleans this part.

I got these for my 4 year old to hold his school snacks. I’ve put sliced fruit, chips, apple sauce, and yogurt in this. The lids fit very tightly and doesn’t leak, even when I filled it up with water and turned it upside down. It’s super easy to clean and doesn’t retain odors. They are a great size. About as high as a standard bento box, so I can fit it in his lunchbox next to his bento box, but it stays separate from his lunch.

These snack containers are the perfect size for fruit, trail mix, gold fish, etc. They are stainless steel and very easy to clean. They are leak proof and food tastes fresh when you store it in these containers. Great price for a pack of 4!

My kids have been somehow losing their snack containers at school, and these have so far been a great replacement. The metal containers are small enough where the portion amounts are just right for my kids, and my kids can easily remove or put the lid back onto the container. These containers are easy to clean as well, which is a huge help when we have to clean a lot of containers and bottles, in addition to the other things that we don't want to put into the dishwasher. We haven't used these containers for anything liquid based, as we've only been using it for fruits, and dry snacks.
