I purchased a bass guitar to play the game Rocksmith. Although the game is captivating, It doesn't cover reading music. Heck, I'm playing the bass and don't know what notes I'm playing. decent book for beginners. if you have music theory knowledge i would not recommend getting this book. if you're a beginner its a start even though i found most of the exercises boring.

A detailed, informative, easy to follow guide to reading sheet music for a bass guitar. Very comprehensive. I am learning to play using Rocksmith 2014, but this does not show you the notes (as per sheet music), thus I definataly need this information! Highly recommended!
