I ordered these to cut my child's hair between hair appointments. I am not a hairstylist or barber, by and means, but these shears seem to be good quality. They are heavy, but not overwhelming. They are sharp, but not scary. They cut well and are relatively easy to maneuver while trying to section hair. I noticed that, like most scissors, they cut better closer to the pivot point. These shears are really pretty, too! I hope they remain sharp for a long time. If you are looking for a good tool to cut hair between appointments, I would definitely recommend these. ... show more

These are pretty good for ten dollars. I am a hairdresser and These are decent. Cut well. I think there pretty. Hopefully they stay sharp. So far so good.
