I got these to replace an old pair of hair cutting scissors that aren't so sharp anymore. These scissors are all metal like my old ones, which I like. They're sharp and cut well. They're a little bit smaller, but not much (about a half inch in overall length). The finger holes are a little smaller too, which makes them slightly less comfortable to hold. I really only use them to trim bangs occasionally, so that's not a deal breaker. The price is very good for metal scissors (current price is $5.99), so I think they're a very good deal. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I needed for cutting my hair. I haven't been to a salon in years and I like to cut my own hair from time to time. It's hard finding scissors that are super sharp and these definitely are. They are not too big and are easy to hold. Very nice pair of compact barbers scissors. There are plastic inserts in the finger holes that are nicely radiused for comfort. Plus that little finger extension that helps pull the scissor closed when doing haircuts. Wow! I am not a hairdresser, but do trim my own ends now and then. These are super sharp, extremely accurate and nice and light. I also appreciate that there’s no sharp tip, so if I’m scrounging around in a drawer to find it I have no fear of cutting myself on it. For the price, can’t beat it!
