I’ve been cutting my own hair for years now, and always stuck with a very expensive brand of shears because I figured you get what you pay for. I was surprised to find that these scissors are as sharp as my high-end pair and give me the same clean, professional results without the expense. It’s rare to find a product that over-delivers, but these definitely do. I expected budget shears, but got pro-quality. The high-carbon stainless steel gives them a premium feel, and the blades are sharp enough to make a clean cut without pulling on my hair like some other scissors I’ve tried. The 6.9” size makes it easy to trim areas that are awkward to cut with longer shears like around my ears. The handles have a nice, substantial weight to them, and it’s easy to get a comfortable grip. These don’t make any noise when I’m cutting either - they are whisper quiet because of the shock absorber between the handles - it’s not necessary, but I like it. I appreciate that it comes with a comb, cleaning cloth, and a PU leather pouch. The pouch is my favorite extra because it makes the scissors easy to find in the junk box where I keep my other items. It also makes sure the blades don’t get nicked or dulled while they’re stored away. It’s rare to find a product that feels this well-made for such a low price. These hair cutting scissors are so great and a really great value for the price! Hair scissors can really get up there in price but for my use, these have all the quality I need with none of the high price. I recently lost my scissors and trying to cut my husband's hair with regular scissors was a real pain, so I'm super happy to have these! They come with a little sheath case which is great for keeping the blades safe from dulling and oxidation as well as keeping your own hands safe when getting them out to use. I'm not sure how the longevity works as compared to professionnal scissors that are always in use but I think these will last a good long time for my own use. So I got the scissors, the sheath case, and the cleaning pad but for some reason no comb. I honestly didn't really need one but I'm not sure why mine was missing it. It's not worth taking off a star but I'm pointing it out in case it happens to someone else. Otherwise they're great scissors that work well so I'm happy to have them.

I got these scissors for my dog. She's a doodle and has hair that constantly grows, just like a human. It's thick and curly so needs a good pair of scissors. I like this set a lot. Unlike my previous scissors, these scissors don't bind with hair between the blades, they always cut. They have a silky black stainless finish which feels super premium. The scissors are small, which I find an advantage for cutting around the eyes and the paws. My dog is really small so I haven't really needed bigger scissors for the body. The comb seems good, but that's easier to execute, so I expected that. My overall rating is 5 stars - worked well, looks good, has a nice finish.

Listen, I know the listing says “professional”, forget that part. This is *not* that. What this really is, is a very inexpensive pair of hair cutting scissors. They cut just fine. They are not super sharp, I think the beard trimming scissors I was using for my hair trims previously might be a little sharper. But for $5?! These are worth every bit of that, and maybe a little bit more. They get the job done and I was able to successfully trim my hair just now without any fear of stabbing myself (did I mention my beard trimming scissors are sharp?) If you go in with expectations of professional quality, you will surely be disappointed. I definitely didn’t expect it at this price point. But for what they are, they get the job done. If you just need something cheap in a pinch, this is that. Unremarkable, but affordable.
