I got these because I learned during 2020 how to cut my hair. I wanted this to freshen up my hair. These scissors are surprisingly high quality for the price. Some that are used by my barber are almost $200 but this was a good price. They’re sharp, sturdy, and make clean, straight cuts on both wet and dry hair. If you learn how to sharpen them you can continue to use for years. I like the adjustable tension screw. Mine was slightly loose so check it when you receive. The scissors feel balanced in the hand, with comfortable removable finger rings and just the right weight for control without strain. The set comes nicely packaged with a comb, cleaning cloth, leather case, and even replacement finger cushions. So far so good. If anything arises I will update this review. ... show more

My wife has ben cutting my hair for years but we've always used the cheap economy haircut kits in the past so I wanted to upgrade to something a little more professional. I've been impressed with these scissors so far, they feel great and seem to be very well manufactured. My wife cut my hair with them yesterday and she was impressed with the feel and sharpness of the blades. The point of the scissors is a little dull which is perfect so she doesn't have to worry about accidently pricking me while cutting. There's also a tension screw on the scissors which also allows adjustment. These would also make a great gift as they come in a very nice box with a sheath, comb and rings to wear on your fingers to protect them if you're cutting a lot. Very happy with these! ... show more

I cut my own hair, which is not easy. I need a very sharp pair of scissors so I can cut my hair easier. These are great for that. Oh, and I have 5 Pomeranians and an American Eskimo. Needless to say, no matter how much brushing I do, they still get mats. These scissors get through those very stick mats with ease!! Obviously, I have to be very CAREFUL when using these. These 6.5" scissors come very well packaged include replacement finger cushions, protective case, comb and cleaning cloth. They have a small diamond like embellishment on the tension screw head. It's attractive but doesn't add to the functionality. The overall quality of the scissors is nice. Mine came a little lose and required tightening the tension screw. This is appreciated over a standard rivet since the shears will come loose over time/wear. All in all, for the price point this is a very usable set of shears. ... show more

These are high quality and very sharp. They’re heavy enough to have some weight and allow for easier cutting without wrist pain, but not so heavy that they’re uncomfortable to use. The media could not be loaded. These scissors are easy on my fingers and are very sharp. So you’ll be able to cut hair nicely. The precision line hair cutting scissors are beautifully packed hair scissors. The scissors are comfortable to hold and work fairly well. My biggest complaint is that these are supposed to be stainless steel but they feel more like a heavy plastic. The scissors come with a leather carrying case that is nicely designed and great for storing.
