Likes: Smooth, stretchy material. Color is nice and the pants are comfortable, but the pants run a bit large. Dislikes: I got 2XL for my husband but he ended up needing a belt. Pricing: $44 seems a bit too steep; maybe should be $25 or $30 at most.

These shorts are stretchy and have plenty of pockets to store your stuff. They fit a little snug for me, but they do stretch, so they allow some freedom of movement. They seem like they would be good for active wear, like hiking or just walking and they look stylish, too.

These Haimont men's hiking shorts are lightweight and soft. Made from a nylon/spandex blend (89%/11%), they stretch a bit, are cool and breathable and dry pretty fast when wet. I like the snap closure with the zippered fly (rather than a button closure like most other hiking shorts.) I do have an issue with the zippered pockets, though. I understand the reasoning behind having zippered pockets on hiking shorts since keeping items secure during movement through the woods and on trails can be a problem. Unfortunately, on shorts that are this lightweight, you have to hold the shorts down with one hand in order to pull the zipper back up. I like these Haimont shorts and I recommend them but for that one design flaw, I rate them 4 Stars.

Love that it’s light and breathable. The material feels almost as swim short. The length is perfect and the navy color is nice. The fit is perfect not too loose or too tight.

I followed the size chart on the website and measured myself as directed. It determined that I should get a size Large instead of the Medium I usually wear. The Large fit but was looser than I prefer. I like my pants to be snug enough that I don't feel it necessary to wear a belt. With these size Large shorts I will probably have to wear a belt. Given that they have an elastic waistband I think a Medium would've been a better fit for me. The shorts are lightweight and are made well. They have three zippered pockets - two front and one back. I held them under running water and they are definitely water resistant. In addition to the elastic waistband, the shorts also have some stretch to them. Overall, a nice pair of shorts for casual wear but I do miss having two back pockets.
