Got this for my 11 year old daughter who started middle school. She wanted a plain backpack and this fit her style perfectly. The shoulder straps and thickly padded so they are comfortable for her to wear and it can hold a lot of school items. It has 1 outside pocket which is big so that's nice. Great backup with enough pockets to satisfy the teen who needs to pack everything and then some. Several inside pockets serve the purpose of holding both small items and books/ lunch supplies. Smaller outer pocket is perfect for pencils, school supplies or a last minute snack. Also sports two decent sized mesh pockets, good for bottles of water or sports drinks. Very simple black design, while it looks grey in some pictures, which blends in well and is unisex in nature. Adjustable shoulder straps are easy to adjust and the top handle offers a good grip. I really wish I could have gotten this in a color but overall I really like this backpack. It is only 2 pockets but both are really big and the side pockets can hold two 16 oz water bottles!
