I'm one of those guys with a long waist and short legs (I'm 5' 10" tall with only a 29 inch inseam). As such, I like pants with a moderate rise in the midsection, as otherwise pants don't look good on me. My preferred brand of pants recently changed so that they are now both cut much tighter across the mid section and with a very low rise. I don't know if it was a cost-savings decision (less material) or changing dress styles, but I can no longer wear them. So I decided to give these pants a try. Below are my impressions. These fit well around the midsection and are accurately sized there. I like the hidden expandable waist feature on these parts, which keep them comfortable whether I'm standing or sitting. They're made of out 100 percent polyester and are a bit shinier than I'm used to ... I usually wear wool or a wool blend dress pants. They look sharp and hang well, though. The are about half an inch longer in the leg than my other brands of dress pants are. It's not enough to cause me to need to get them tailored, but I mention it just in case you're borderline between needing to wear a 29 or 30 inch inseam ... if so, a 29 inch inseam may work better for you. Overall, I'm glad I found these. They're attractive, and don't tightly squeeze me in places I'd rather not be squeezed. I may try and find something in a wool blend, based on the material I'm used to, but these are a more than adequate replacement for the "brand whose name shall not be mentioned"'s pants. Four stars.

High quality, look great, waist size not an issue because its expandable, leg length is a problem for me. Although I have a 30" leg, I have to purchase the 29" leg or sometimes the 28" leg to get the length right.
