I have tried other covers and they have all looked very cheap. This is much better. My textured brown couch is in fine condition but I have an odd reason for covering it... It is tick season here in the USA and they can carry some nasty diseases so I want to cover the couch in a light color to make any ticks that come off of the cute dog in the photo easier to see. The obvious answer to that problem is to not allow the dog on the couch, but you can probably see that he's rather comfy and he's 11. No matter what they say, we will not be able to teach that stubborn dog any new tricks. So... Back to the cover. I purchased the velvet texture and I feared an 80s feel, but it's very nice and doesn't look terrible. The install job in the photos took me 7 minutes and I am certain that I can make it look better. I like that there are 3 seat cushions because the seat cushions help to shape the cover and if one gets dirty, it could be washed independent of the entire cover. I was also worried about how the back would look because my couch is not against a wall, but it's fine. The tags on each side that say "back" are a little odd and not very removable without damage to the cover but on the plus side, they were helpful for the installation. I knocked off a star because, as shown in one photo, there's a spot where the seam appears to be poorly stitched or beginning to tear. If it gets worse, I will return the cover for a new one.

Plusses: when this is put on properly, it looks amazing. People do not even realize its a slip cover. The color (navy) is beautiful and the biggest culprit for cleaning (dog slobber) is easy to wipe away with just water. I will suggest buying good quality upholstry pins and those sticks to help hold in place in between cushions, and if you take your time and do this carefully and properly it basically appears to be a new couch. Even with my couch being overstuff leather and a bit clunky on the back and top, it still looks great. For the price it was well worth it. Every week or so I need to straighten it up around the corners, but with 2 kids and 2 dogs it really stays in place well! Downsides: it took a LONG time to put on and pin properly. Like, over an hour and I was sweating afterwards. In several places where I pulled too hard the pins did rip a hole. My main downside: I know that the whole point is that you can remove and wash (yay) but this bad boy took sooooo long to put on and I can't imagine taking off to wash. So whenever it gets to the point that febreeze and vacuuming it no long suffice, i will probably just go back to the leather underneath it as that is much easier to clean.

Stone blue is a great color. It's the sam e color as my ikea desk drawers. We used the cover on a low back couch with one long seat pillow. I removed the firm couch upholstery where possible- so there weren't any hard corners sticking out at the edges. We didn't appear to need the 3 seat cushion covers but I may use them for the back pillows... good directions and tag that says "BACK" on the cover so you get it right the 1st time. Highly recommend for quality and ease of applying 👌

I ordered a five similar sets in Ivory and teal with different textures and chose this one. The others had a texture that I think will look dirty quickly and will grab my dog’s dark hair even more than this velvet. I could also see the dark couch color through their fabric. Not a bit with this one!! They might have even been from the same company. The ivory is true ivory. Not yellowish or beige. I ordered two extra cushion covers to complete the look! So all for under $100, I now have the look I want and a washable cover! Love it. *****A few more days in and I just can’t get over the quality. If you’re debating getting velvet and the other textures, the velvet is much much higher quality! And more pet friendly. Definitely thicker and so so soft! Spot cleaning is a breeze. I haven’t machine washed yet but I will hang dry when do. It might be fine in the dryer.

The cover fits perfectly and the color is exactly as pictured. With the perfect, snug fit and the individual cushion covers, it looks like I bought a brand new sofa for $40. However the cover was extremely wrinkled from the packaging. The snug fit failed to reduce or smooth out the wrinkles. Washing and drying one cushion cover didn’t help either. The Q&A for this product suggested using a steam iron. First I tested this on hidden areas to ensure it wouldn’t burn the velvet. Then, with the cover STILL ON the sofa, I steam ironed it and, voila, all wrinkles are gone. Note: if you have never owned a velvet fabric piece of furniture or clothing, the nature of velvet fabric means there will always be signs of touch or sitting.

The dark teal is absolutely gorgeous. It gives my living room the pop it needed. I used this to cover my Ashley Furniture Zardoni couch which my pugs chewed some of the tufted buttons off of. I debated over a couple of couch covers and ended up giving this one a chance. I was so excited to try it out you can see the packaging still on my table. The fabric is soft and stretchy. I know fur clings to velvet, but it’s so much easier to brush hair off velvet than woven fabrics. It had an odd smell on arrival (didn’t expect perfection) but I planned to wash the covers beforehand anyways. This cover gave my couch an instant makeover!!!!

Overall I am pleased with this cover. It does not fit as well as I would like but the part that doesn't work is at the back which no one sees anyway. The material is super soft! It washes well and is pretty easy to spot clean too. I am very pleased with this purchase and would purchase again.
