These have made a world of difference in our bedroom. We went from slatted blinds that just collected dust and let light in to these. It lets us block out the light completely for our toddlers mid day nap and adds a pop of color to our room. They’re nice and thick and the perfect length for our windows. I absolutely loved these curtains. They were the right color , they blackened the room for sleep, and they were a good quality. Then I had to move and my window windows were much shorter and at first I didn’t want to cut them because if I moved again, I would want to reuse them. However, I bought the cutest Boho placemat sets and had no tablecloth that would match. So I cut the rings out of the curtain and then use that as my tablecloth. It was absolutely perfect. Uodate. Mine had some stubborn fold creases So I decided to try and iron them out on low heat. Bad move. The vinyl is thinner than some others so it seems like the best did remove the creases but there are now what I would call waves in the vinyl so that it will no longer hang properly. I have not experienced this with other backdrops. Probably my own fault, ordered a replacement but may have to just try hanging it out in the sun to remove fold creases. Original review. Like many of us, I am increasingly doing video conferencing from home. My home office is in my unfinished basement so needed something to create amore professional background. Greenscreen would be nice but reauires a lot of effort and lighting to look good, without judders, etc. I thus decided to give this a shot. My first impression on setting it up was, "meh, looks kind of fake". At the larger size the resolution is good but not great, it looked kind of flat and the chair and plant looked too washed out compared to rest of background. But wait, it gets better. First thing I did was placed some real furniture in front of the plant and chair. That in itself made a huge difference. I also put a light (used an led shop light) at a down angle on the backdrop. Finally, I spent another $35 dollars on curtains from Amazon and hung the off a pipe on the ceiling. The curtains are also nice in that I can close them at night since daylight pouring through the window at 10pm would be a bit odd! I am now pretty happy with the setup and the background works really nicely. I have had several people on the other end of calls make positive comment on my "office". I am also using a ring light facing myself from front. Picture shown is pretty low resolution but should give you a good idea. ... show more

I lovED these curtains. There are thick/heavy and block the light well. The fabric is very good quality with a nice texture. They were more expensive than I usually spend on curtains but the quality is good and they had super long ones. WELL, it finally was time for their first wash and it was a very expensive lesson. I had saved the washing instructions that came with them. I washed 2 curtains first, on cold. One came out fine. The second one: the black out lining which is basically like a coat of rubber got very soft and it stuck to itself in many areas. When you pull, it peels off, removing the lining and now making that area a place that light passes through. I had bought 3 pairs. I tried again, this time making sure they were very wet when I took them out to avoid the sticking. Same thing again. 1 out of 2. After that I had to wash 1 curtain panel at a time. I’m left with 3.5 good curtains out of 6 after only 1 wash and it basically took all day . I’ve posted one of the curtains that I am still using and you can see where the lining is missing (the spots where light coming through). I threw away 2 pairs that couldn’t be separated. ... show more
