These easy to install lights have a wide range of colors although they do not represent white very well. Mine are installed in my entertainment room and are only used in weekends. I purchased these as gifts and then got one for myself. The colors are great. Easy to apply. The remote is cool but the app has more features. I couldn't see how to cut it as others said but it worked fine for my space. I do wish it would sync to other music, not just what's in my phone. And, on the pre programmed settings it would be cool to be able to control the speed of change or even create a custom vibe. Overall super cool. Im very happy with these. ... show more

These are the easiest things I’ve ever put up, installed around the ceiling of my kids room. Just peel back the paper and go! Shortening them is no problem either, just make sure to cut on the 4 copper strip. I cut in the middle on the 4 flat copper strip. These are awesome! Remote works perfectly! Haven’t tried the wifi and not sure I’ll need to but so cool it’s built in! ... show more

I have purchased many LED lights in the past and these are by far my least favorite ones. Most of them come with mounting kits and this one didn't. You're merely depending on a clean wall to keep them up there.

    • Pretty good, but sound reactivity is bogus

For just LED strip lights, these are pretty good. The adhesive back stuck to my walls just fine, despite the fact that they're a bit textured. They're also nice and bright. The app is pretty good and connected easily; however, it doesn't seem possible to connect the lights to two different phones, because my partner can't get his app to connect to them after I already connected them to mine. The remote doesn't work terribly well, but I don't need it with the app. I also love that it connects to our Google Home and we can change the colors via voice. My biggest complaint is that I bought these specifically for the music sync/sound reactivity, and it's really honestly pretty useless. You have to have your phone unlocked near the sound you want the lights to react to, but it also picks up on talking, footsteps, etc. And the only way it "reacts" to sound is by strobing random colors. So not only do you have to keep your phone unlocked constantly (which I can only do by changing the settings in my phone to let it never lock automatically), but it won't really stay on tempo with your music unless everyone else in the room is silent. ... show more

I don't like the fact that you cannot remove them if you decide to change the room or the view of how they are cause they loose the sticky back and then they slowly start falling from where you retried to stick them
