Our cowboy western holster rigs are crafted from heavy duty genuine top grain leather by world renowned craftsmen whose trade has been handed down for generations. The precision tooling is done Meticulously by HAND. The holster and belt are cut from one hide to maintain color consistency throughout the entire product. The holster BELT is constructed of two sheets of heavy duty top grain leather back to back so that the smooth side of the leather is on the inside of the belt and also on the outside of the belt. The HOLSTER is made of two sheets of leather sandwiching a sheet of metal to add rigidity and to maintain the shape. This double layer construction gives the entire rig durability and longevity. How to measure BELT SIZE: Measure (in inches) your hip or waist area where you want the belt to ride. Wearing pants, measure over the belt loops with the belt in place. Okay, so I'm a 67 y/o guy. I've owned a lot of guns over the years, but never a "cowboy gun". What I mean by that is any Colt single-action Army model or a clone thereof. This is mainly because I'm cheap and Colt SAA models are not. But the other day, I came across an inexpensive .22LR/.22WMR single-action revolver made by Heritage Arms. I hunted down the 9-shot version on the web for less than 200 bucks and had it shipped to my local gun dealer. When the gun came in, I thought "How cool is this!" So now, I've got "cowboy fever". I get home and almost immediately start another websearch for a holster. I find a few really nice holsters, but they're out of my price range. And it's not as if I'm going to start competing in cowboy shooting sports, as I'm mostly just a plinker. Then I came across this rig on Amazon and it's in my price range. I wear a size-44 pant, so I ordered this gun belt in a 48. A week later a box is on my doorstep. I take it inside and get comfortable having dinner with my dogs. After dinner, I cut the box open and find a really nice belt & holster rig. I pop the .22 into the holster and it's a good fit. I'm only wearing my underwear and a T-shirt, but I live alone...so what the hell. The belt is a little large and it's sliding down my hips, so I put on my jeans and it fits perfect. It sits exactly where I was hoping it would and my hand falls naturally close to the gun grip. It feels great! So, of course, I gotta see how I look. I go into the bedroom and stand in front of a full-length mirror admiring my outfit. I'm thinking to myself, that I look just like "Little Joe" Cartwright on Bonanza. But I'm sure any objective observer would say "Howdy, Hoss!" So to wrap this up, I've got no reason to look any further. I'm sure those $400 rigs are better, but this is just right for walking around my house playing cowboy. I forgot to mention, this rig has 42 bullet loops. I didn't want to put real rimfire ammo in the belt, so I bought realistic looking non-firing "snap caps". To illustrate how inexpensive this nice belt/holster rig is, it cost me half the price of the rig, just to buy 4 dozen snap caps to fill all the loops. ... show more

The leather and craftsmanship is "the best". I cannot express how happy I am with this holster and belt. I highly recommend LEATHERTOWNEUSA. Just make sure you measure your waist over pants and a belt if you plan to wear a belt under holster. I wear size 38 waist pants. They fall down without a belt. So I ordered a 40 waist holster to fit over a heavy and wide belt and it fits perfect. The new leather is extremely stiff and will need breaking in to pull tight. Great design, and build for the price. But the belt fit a little large. Works great with heritage rough rider. The .22lr and .22wmr fit in loops no problem without falling out.
