This is a CHILDREN'S desk - let's get that out of the way. Young kids.. from age 5 (or a big 4 year old?) to maybe up to preteens. We got it for my 6 year old, who is small for her age, when she started 1st grade for homework purposes - and art. I chose this because of the STORAGE and my daughter was set on the color (blue is her favorite). The desk is HEAVY so it's pretty sturdy so far and, I think, pretty good value overall. No issues, but I use a table liner (?) on the top to prevent scratches and stains (fingers crossed). We plan on letting our youngest use it once the oldest grows out of it... whenever that may be. The drawers don't open up the smoothest, but that's fine. Overall, very pleased with it and my daughter loves her first Big Girl desk as well! Hopefully, it'll last.

This desk is made of almost 100% wooden pieces, its heavy and gives you a feel of furniture, the way it used to be! We received it promptly in time for online school!!! This desk is perfect. The hardware on the drawers is 100% metal and sturdy. I had some concerns but they don't deserve to knock a star off this product. 1. The hardware (read screws and nuts) seems to be made of cheaper material. Go easy when you try to tighten screws or nuts. I had one broken lock nut since I wasn't sure how much pressure is needed to lock the thing in. 2. 2 of the pieces were mislabeled. Their size and positions of groves and holes, helped in identifying where they belong. But there are multiple parts where if this happened you might just screw up the desk the wrong way. 3. Lastly there is a fresh paint smell to it which is fine for me but some might not be happy with it. Cheers!

We ordered this for our 14 year old - yes this is a kids desk but it was tough to find something that would fit her size/age and give her everything she needed. I was VERY hesitant on ordering off here because I know its usually particle board and not great quality. I would admit that it was better than expected but I don't think it was worth the $$ we spent. We had issues with a couple screws/bolts stripping instantly when trying to put this together but we have extras laying around to make it work. Some missing parts but nothing that made it impossible to put together. I thought I had a picture of the desk complete but I don't. Our daughter is smaller/petite so this worked perfect and gives her the space she needs for drawing or school work plus it was small enough to fit in her room without taking up too much space. Overall, I'm impressed but I think this was WAY over priced.

Assembles into a nice sturdy desk and chair. Fit and finish are fantastic. We have bought two of these for a 5 and 8 year old. I am over 250 lbs and the chair handles me just fine. I highly recommend these! I did buy plexiglass to protect the top because the finish is so nice I didn't want it marred by rough play but eventually, hopefully, the kids will use it more for homework and less artwork projects.

This desk is so nice and yes very sturdy. It’s heavy so that made putting some of it together a two person job so I had my 7 yr old help. Directions were easy and my kid loves this desk. She is 51” tall and the desk is good height so is the chair. I can see her using this for a long time high quality on the wood not that particular board mess.

Lo que buscaba algo que tuviera resistencia. El color es hermoso. Mucho almacenamiento. La silla es resistente. Definitivamente nos encantó espero tenerla de por vida.
